I live in Russia. It is a very large country and it has different species of flora and fauna.The number of known animal species in Russia reaches 125 thousand species.

The most common plant that is associated with my country is birch. These trees are very beautiful, their colored bark and long branches are very famous in my country. They can grow very high. I think these trees grow almost everywhere.Another common plant is oak, which also binds with Russia and grows everywhere on its territory.

The animal world is also diverse: foxes, wolves, hares, squirrels and bears. They live in forests, and sometimes and on fields. In the water we can see different fish, and in the North of the country we can find some similar mammals, walrus and whale.

There are also a lot of birds both sonhgbirds(nightingale, starling,canary and many more)  and waterbirds (duck, swan, goose) that inhabit the territory of our country.

Some animals have become symbols of Russia and Russian cities anв towns an example we can name bear.
