Цели и задачи:
1. Формирование навыка исследовательской работы, приобретение экологических знаний.
- Изучить Красную книгу Татарстана и получить информацию об исчезающих видах зверей и птиц.
- Подготовить информацию о конкретной деятельности в решении экологических проблем.
- Провести опрос жителей Апастова.
- Провести мозговой штурм в 11 А классе

2013- Year of Ecology. Environmental awareness is very important, because this problem is very actual nowadays. There are a lot of types of pollution: air, water, soil pollution. We should prevent them. Acid rain is harmful, because it further to the disappearance of animals and plants. Consequence of the deforestation is endangered of animals and plants.
In Apastovo area there are a lot of endangered animals, birds and plants. I studied the Red book of Tatarstan and found out that brown bears, sapsans and big-eared hedgehogs almost extinct. Plants and animals life extinction is in danger. Consequence of the deforestation is endangered of animals and plants. A great forest fire is an awful thing to see. That’s why we should care of them.
The ozone layer is essential for the preservation of life on the Earth. It helps us to be protected it from sunny rays. This is very dangerous because it can cause cancer. Many aerosol sprays destroy the ozone layer too.
It’s a wonderful we live on the Earth. But now human beings are killing our planet. Go to the rivers and lakes and you’ll see pollution around you. There is a lot of litter. They are brought by people. People live among litter and wastes. We have created it ourselves – fumes of cars, steamers, factories. In my opinion people must deliver our world from them. I suppose that if people will clear litter away, the planet would be cleaner. We also can recycle most kinds of paper, glass, metal and plastic.
I want to say that we should avoid environmental damage, protect the atmosphere and soil, promote clean air and water and do concrete actions. We should recycle the rubbish and litter in order to protect the environment. To preserve the ecology people construct recycling facilities and warn people about environmentally problems.
For example, in Apastovo there is recycling centre where waste is divided into paper, plastic, metal, glass. The population of Apastovo through the rubbish to

containers and then lorries take away them to range of household waste. Apastovo has clearing construction for water near Tabarka.
As for my family, we burn paper, plastic, packets, and carton. My father hands over glass bottles, metal to special places. So my area and my family prevent our nature from waste too. If everybody does too, our planet will be cleaner. My school also decides this problem very actively. Every year students plant trees, clean banks of Tabarka river, Lake Plotina. We through out the rubbish to special places. Every autumn and spring students clean garbage in the territory of school, streets, parks, stadiums and territories along the roads. Also my friends hold actions of protecting the environment.
Results of my researching.
I interviewed three groups of population in Apastovo: teenagers, grown-ups and old people. I asked some questions:
1. Is it actual to protect the environment?
2. Do you through the rubbish and litter only to special containers?
3. Do you take part in activities of cleaning territories?
Their answers show that
- teenagers answered «Yes» - 89 %
-grown-ups – 97 %
-old people – 100 %

Next step of my project was brainstorming in my class.

A list of how you can help the environment
1. Before you thrown anything away, stop and think. Might someone else use it?
2.Take as much rubbish as you can to local recycling centres.
3. Never drop litter, recycle its.
4. Help to clean your local environment.
5. Put out food for wild animals in winter.
6. Never use aerosol sprays.
7. Don’t go to the forest in hot summer.
8. Don’t leave the taps running.
9. Write on both sides of paper.
10. Buy products that are recycled, reliable, repairable, reusable.
11. Turn off lights and other electrical equipment when not in use.
12. Take shorter showers to save water.
13. Use mugs and glasses instead of paper cups.
14. Encourage your school to be environmentally friendly.
The results of my project proved that residents of Apastovo and my classmates try to keep our area clean and accurately. They confess that they treat ecology more consciously. They think and do something to protect it. I learned to research, communicate with grown-ups and old people, knew more about ecological problems.
