There is life in every drop of the ocean water and if our oceans and seas are in danger we may say that the whole humanity is in danger. That's why I believe that ecological protection of the ocean becomes one of the most important problems of mankind.
Aims: to attract attention to the problem of ocean pollution. The whole humanity should think about the consequences of this careless neglect to the World ocean.
Tasks:
- to find out the main threats of water pollution
- to make suggestions how to minimize these threats
Methods and techniques:
- literature and Internet analysis
- questionnaire
- interview
Findings:
Sometimes it seems to us that everything is lost, but in fact we can still help our seas. And it is our task to do it as the future of our waters really depends on us! Helping oceans and seas we can help not only nature but OURSELVES as well!!!
Conclusion:
Everyone should pay attention to the problem of the pollution of the World ocean.
Our future depends on the future of our seas and oceans.
Everyone should understand that saving our waters he helps to save himself.

We Need Water
Water at Home. We use about 80 liters of water when we take a bath. We use about 27 liters of water when we take a shower. We use water to brush our teeth and we also need water to flush the toilet. We use about 9 liters of water every time we flush. We use water to wash and clean other things, too. We wash the dishes with water. We wash clothes with water. We wash and clean everything in the house with water!
Water Activities. Making Electricity We use a lot of water outside the home. We need water for the food we eat. We need water to travel. We can travel by ship and by boat. We can also make power with water. Hydroelectricity is electricity made from water. We like to go to the beach in the summer. We also like to visit rivers and lakes. Lots of sports need water (sailing, surfing, swimming, waterskiing, diving).
Our body is about 70% water. Our brain is about 85% water and our bones are about 33% water.
Animals Need Water
Water gives them food and oxygen. All ocean animals need water. Jellyfish need water to support heir bodies Some animals live in fresh water. Land animals need water, too.
The main threats to the World ocean are the following
We can save water at home. - Turn off the water when we brush our teeth. - Take a shower , not a bath . We can also save water outside the home . - Collect rainwater to water plants. - Don't throw things into rivers or lakes. Protect ocean birds and marine life: don't throw plastic bags, bottles, etc. in or near the water. Sea birds, turtles, whales and other sea animals often mistake plastic things for food and die. Don't litter. Rubbish has a way of ending up in rivers, lakes, and oceans. Take part in beach clean-up projects. We all need to save water.
Remember! Our Earth needs water. People, animals, and plants need water. Save our wonderful water!
