Definision Question tags are short questions that follow a sentence - especially in spoken Englis:

Use We use a question tag to ask if something is true? or to ask people to agree with us, or to just keep the conversation going.

Rule 1 Use a negative end after a positive sentence and a positive tag after negative sentence 1) The Earth is bigger than the Moon, isn't it? 2) The Earth isn't as big as the Sun, is it?

Rule 2 Use the same auxiliary or modal verb as it is in the main sentence 1) We will gou out together, won't we? 2) Albert can't play the violin, can he?

Rule 3 If the main sentence doesn't have auxiliary verb, use do , does or did 1) Asian people like rice, don't they? 2) She speaks Russian, doesn't she? 3) Jack bought a new car last week, didn't he?
