Слайд 1.
Each person has a place that he can call home and where he can return and feel completely safe. In this place there are also his beloved people. It is very important to have a place where you can feel necessary and important.
Our village lives, develops, looks to the future with hope, but we must not forget our glorious past. And the history of the village is rich in bright unforgettable events. So, we present to your attention the history of the village.
Слайд 2.
The village of Teplovo is located on the left bank of the river Tesha. It is in the Kulebaki district in the South-West of Nizhny Novgorod region.
10-12 thousand years BC on the banks of the river Tesha, in the area of the current Slezavka (Western outskirts of the village of Teplovo), the first settlers appeared. The most ancient stone hatchet found at this place is dated to this period.
Scientists can not name the exact origin of the name of the village, but there is a legend among local residents that explains why the village was named Teplovo. In 1552, when Tsar Ivan the terrible went to war with the Kazan Khanate, he stopped in one of the local villages. Locals were very generous, and gave the Moscow Tsar a warm welcome, for which their settlement was nicknamed "Teplovo" because in Russian ‘warm’ means ‘teplo’).
In 1837, the Teplovo village assembly wrote a petition to the Diocese to build a Church. With the construction of the Church began to develop rapidly carpentry and carpentry, roofing and blacksmithing. Spiritually and culturally, there was a real revolution.
The new Church also contributed to education of children. The village became a center of culture all around: the children's home, a large school, a boarding school was organized on the basis of the Church yard.
Слайд 3.
The village stretched along the Central road and grew. There were no more places to build houses. Therefore, in 1923, the first house was laid on the Back road-the beginning of School street. Today our village has about 600 houses.
Слайд 4.
The Teplovo Church of the Holy life-giving Trinity is the most beautiful and significant object of spiritual culture passed down to us by our ancestors. Its role in the spiritual education of villagers is invaluable. It took only two years to build it (1839-1840).
Currently, the spiritual life of the village is being revived. The territory and interior of the Church are constantly put in order by local parishioners. Since ancient times, Orthodox people have been taking care of their Church and jealously revive it, because they were well aware that the Church is the center of the spiritual and moral ideals of the local people. As long as the church lives, so will the people who keep their traditions.
Слайд 5.
There is a miracle-working icon of the the Holy Virgin "Quench my sorrows" in our church . For several decades it was kept in the house of Tatyana Andreyevna Zhukova living on the opposite of the Church. In those days, the village was given a clear miracle. Early in the morning the Abbot of the church saw moisture at the foot of the icon, and fragrant tears flowed down the face of the lady. A few years later, the first world war began, followed by famine, devastation, and revolution. It became clear to the faithful what the lady foretold. Prayers in front of this icon help to find peace of mind and acquire inner harmony.
The Trinity Church tells that «since 1884, there has been an elementary Zemstvo school in the village of Teplovo». There were 27 boys and 13 girls. The school expanded. In 1930 Nabatov arrived here (unfortunately, the old – timers did not remember their name), which made the school one of the first in the district. Before the war, Alexander Nazarov, a native of our village, became the principal of the seven-year school. He served in this position until the middle of the war, then he went to the front. Soon the school became a ten-year school. In 1957, the school burned down. It took only three years to build a two-storied school with 500 seats completely from scratch. Children from the neighborhood – Gremyachevo, Lomovka, Shiloksha, Natalino, Rogovo, Kutuzovka, Znamenka were taught by more than 30 teachers and more than half of them were men, including 7 participants in the war.
Слайд 6.
Our school gets better and better every year. Today there are over 200 students and 25 teachers.
Today our school is big and beautiful. It has got classes with a modern equipment. In 2019, the center for education of digital and humanitarian subjects "Point of growth" was created on the basis of our school as part of the Federal project "Modern school" of the national project " Education".
Слайд 7.
The villagers were involved in many wars. In 1877 – 1878, Alexey Fyodorovich Ryzhevsky took part in the Russian-Turkish war. The Russian-Japanese war began in 1904. The defenders of the Fatherland in this war were the inhabitants of the village: Yegor Grigoryevich Grunin and Andrey Tyurin. The first world war, which began in 1914, took 37 people from Teplovo.
After the First world war, the Civil war began. 50 residents of the village were its participants. The Soviet-Finnish war in 1939-1940 lasted only three and a half months, but it also affected our residents . The village sent 10 soldiers for military operations.
The Second World War was the largest war in the history of mankind. 636 Teplovo residents participated in this war .In our village there is a monument to the defenders of the Great Patriotic War, which was reconstructed recently. Two years ago we celebrated the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. For our people, this is a significant date - we honor those who did not return from the war, gave their lives for their Homeland, and those who survived.
Слайд 8.
There is a local historian Mikhail Egorovich Fadeev in our village.
Elizabeth Gubanikhina would like to tell about this man.
Pupil 1 (A presentation about M. E. Fadeev)
M. E. Fadeev was born in the first post-war year, so he felt the influence of the war growing up as a patriot As an October boy, a pioneer and Komsomol member, he absorbed the positive example of the heroes.
He wrote the book "Teplovo Residents - defenders of the Fatherland", which presents a list of veterans of our native village of Teplovo with accurate information about their participation in the war, photos, memories of relatives and friends. He worked on the creation of this book for more than forty years. He used materials from N. Novgorod 's archives, Arzamas, Kulebaki, bit by bit collected information, talking with veterans, their wives, parents, comrades. Residents of the village are grateful to Mikhail Yegorovich for his selfless work, for the fact that the book will help preserve the memory of Teplovo defenders for centuries.
Слайд 9.
The nature of our village is extremely beautiful! There is a fabulous park in the Western side. It is almost 300 years old! Through the entire Park, you can see a furrow that is now overgrown. In this place, there was a fence, separating the forest and the Park area. Maybe it was the only reason the park was saved from being cut down. A manor house with columns was next to the park, which may have seen by the Countess Uvarova. This house became a school after the revolution, and then was burned down by negligence. By the way, in his youth, L. N. Tolstoy was in love with the Countess and made her the prototype of one of the characters of the novel "War and peace".
Behind the Park there is a swampy place, popularly called Dashing, where large trees do not grow, unlike the rest of the forest. 200 years ago, after the Patriotic war of 1812, French prisoners lived in Teplovo and worked on logging. Their life was difficult so they often died. And since they were Gentiles, they were not buried in the local cemetery, so that not to desecrate it. They buried the bodies without a funeral service in Dashing. None of the French returned to their Homeland. About 200 souls were buried in the swamp. Since then, pine trees have not been growing in this place, only bushes. And voices are often heard from the swamp: a baby crying, then a call for help. Apparently, it’s hard to live in another world without having a funeral service and repentance in this one.
Слайд 10.
Our river Tesha begins in Lukoyanov district of our region. Its length is 311 km. It has 15 left and 10 right tributaries. Our river is special: it never freezes! No one remembers that it was ever covered with solid ice, it is always warmed by springs! There is a legend why the river was called Tesha. The river received its name in ancient times in the city of Lukoyanov. There lived a man, Mordvin by nationality. His name was Teshay. He dug a well that formed the source of our river. This man's name became the river’s name. The last letter was lost over time. Teshay without –‘y’ at the end sounds exactly like the Russian ‘mother-in-law’, - quietly, calmly, smoothly like a quiet noise movement the river water.
Слайд 11.
In the area of the village the Tesha river has many springs. In the woods of the village north side there is an amazing spring – Tyatyaev klyuch. Its origin is connected with a specific person, our countryman Ivan Terentyevich Yashin. At the age of 17, unexpectedly and secretly, he left his home and chose a dark, dense forest to live.
He went into the depths of the forest. There he stopped in a dense pine and spruce forest. Not far from the Red river, the young man prepared a cave to live in and dug a spring. Time has erased the majestic forest from the face of the earth, there is no trace of that cave... BUT there IS a SPRING!
And this spring is a visible miracle for everyone: in the middle of the forest, on a hill, near which there are no signs of water – there is a spring with clear water, despite the fact that the water does not flow out of it anywhere.
The water of other of them, RYZHEV SPRING is considered to be healing. Ivan Terentyevich Yashin, revered in the village for his righteous life, dug the spring. For many years, his faithful follower Dmitry Ryzhevsky took care of the place. The abbreviated name of this person became the name of the spring.
Two trees more than a hundred and fifty years old grow near it. They are affectionately called Ivanushkin VETLA - in memory of the man whose kind hands gave them life. And Ivan Terentyevich Yashin planted them next to his spring.
Ivan Terentyevich Yashin was born in 1893. Having greatly changed the spiritual life in the village, he became the most respected, most revered, and most famous resident of the village of Teplovo. After all, it is one thing to hear about the saints and read about their deeds, and it is quite different thing to live next to them. The life of the old man Ivan Yashin is now called, is so life-giving that the diveyevsky monastery has long been preparing for his canonization. The lack of sufficient information about his parents prevents him from completing it.
Слайд 12.
The beauty of our nature is celebrated in the poems of our poetess – O. A. Marochkina.
Her pupil Pozdova Marina would like to tell about Olga Alekseevna.
Pupil 2 (A presentation about O. A. Marochkina)
Her small homeland is a village of Valtovo, where she spent her childhood, and the village of Teplovo, where she has been living most of her life. Olga moved to Teplovo with her parents. She is married and has two children-a daughter and a son. Now she is a grandmother and has a granddaughter.
She works as a primary school teacher. She says: "I had many students. I can remember all of them! I am very proud when they are successful in life. And it's a shame when a person grows up to be a worthless person." Olga Alexeyevna wholeheartedly loves these two cosy corners with typical Russian nature with all her heart and devoted a lot of her poems to them.
Her poems are beautiful landscape sketches where her love for the Motherland merges with her love for nature. There is the smell of pine and cherry trees, meadow flowers, fresh milk, the freshness of spring water, the beauty of pristine nature in her poems.
Слайд 13.
There are some people on our land seeing our life in a special way, not like everyone else. They live in a fantasy world where dream and reality go side by side. They always believe in the best and live in harmony with themselves and the world around them. These people are artists. Local artist Khalizov Viktor Ivanovich paints the beauty of nature of our region .Not only local exhibitions, but also regional ones were decorated with his paintings.
Слайд 14.
Human destinies, the fate of cities and villages of our region are surprisingly intertwined. It is interesting to unravel these intricate patterns of the fate of our country, slowly assemble puzzles into a picture of the past without which there can be no present and future. Everything is connected by invisible threads! You only need to listen, look closely and old paintings will come to life, talk and reveal their secrets.
If you want to know about our village more information, you can read electronic book about it.
