                             Talk- show   “Let Them Talk”.

Цели:  совершенствование коммуникативных навыков  учащихся; развитие творческих способностей ; привитие интереса к изучению английского языка.

Оборудование: проектор, интерактивная доска, импровизированная студия, участники в красочных костюмах.

                                                       Ход  мероприятия.

Shower: Hello, my name is Andrei Malakhov and I’m very glad to see you at our talk- show. Today we are going to have a talk connected with some family problems. The topic of today’s discussion is “All is Well that Ends Well”. Before we begin, let me introduce the guests of our talk- show. Meet: Miss Red Cup, she is a future famous singer; Miss Alyonushka, she is a future psychologist; Mister Aibolit, he is a famous doctor; Mister Neznaika, he is a future deputy; Mister Katchei the Deathless, he is a head of the private school. I hope that our guests will help us to solve some problems. Your applause, please.   Now, attention please, look at the screen.

Mrs. Goat: Hello, I’m Mrs. Goat. Look, how nice my kids are! They are so beautiful, kind, clever and helpful. I love my kids very much!

Red Cap: Mrs. Goat, you have 7 kids. Is it difficult to look after them? How do you cope with problems?

Mrs. Goat:  It is not easy, of course. But I try to be good mother.

Alyonushka: They are too little. I think it would be better for them to go to the kindergarten. Why are all 7 kids at home? Do they have enough food, clothe, toys?

Neznaika: You are absolutely right, dear Alyonushka. Mrs. Goat, you must not leave your children at home all alone. Something awful may happen with them, when you are not in. And if your kids don’t want to go to a kindergarten, you can call a nurse to look after your kids. I can give you the telephone number of the nurse agency.

Mrs. Goat:  Oh, no I can’t do that. I take care of kids by myself. I work day and night but I don’t have enough money to hire a nurse. And there is only one kindergarten in our village. They say that it is overcrowded.

Katchei: As for me, I think Mrs. Goat is worth admiring. She is a brave woman, because she is not afraid of difficulties. And she does much for her children. I am sure, when the kids grow, they will respect, love, and help their mother too.

Showman: Thank you. Let it be so. I would like you to look at the screen again.

                Now meet Mr. Wolf. Let us ask Mr. Wolf some questions.

Viewer 1: Mr. Wolf, do you have a family, children?

Viewer 2: Do you have a job?

Viewer 3: Do you have a flat or a house?

Viewer 4: Do you have friends?

Mr. Wolf: Oh, no, I am poor Wolf; nobody loves me; I don’t have parents, I don’t have family, I don’t have any place to live in, I don’t have job. I have lost all my documents. And I am always hungry.

Red Cap: Shame on you, Mr. Wolf! I don’t believe you. Your are a liar. Some years ago you promised me and my grandmother to be good and honest. But now I see that you haven’t changed.

Showman: It seems to me that Miss Red Cap is right. Now, let’s watch another episode

(на экране- III-IV  сцены сказки)

Now meet these industrious men: Mr. Blacksmith, Mr. Miller and Mr. Baker.

Aibolit: Mr. Blacksmith, my question is for you. You’ve changed Mr. Wolf’s throat. Do you have medical education? Do you have treating license?

Mr. Blacksmith: I am not a doctor; I don’t have any treating license. I just wanted to help poor Mr. Wolf. I am very sorry for him. I am always ready to help everybody who need my help  And nothing more!

Neznaika: Mr. Baker, why did you help Mr. Wolf to change his appearance?

 Mr. Baker: I was afraid of him very much. He is so creepy. He threatened me and I had to help him. Please, forgive me.

Katchei: Mr. Miller, what about you? What did you make help Mr. Wolf?

Mr. Miller: Money. Mr. Wolf promised to give me much money, if I help him. I am a Miller, my salary is not high. I need money for my wife’s new fur- coat. My children want to have mobile phones and a computer. That is why I agreed to help Mr. Wolf.

Showman: I see. I think there are not any more questions to Mr. Blacksmith, Mr. Baker and Mr. Miller. One more episode. Look at the screen, please

Viewer 5: I have something to say Mrs. Goat. It goes without saying, Mr. Wolf is guilty. But you did a mistake too. It is cruel to cut ones stomach, to my mind. But you Mrs. Goat did it!

Viewer 1: I am of the same opinion. You could kill Mr. Wolf! It would be better to call police to   save your kids.

Mrs. Goat: Now I understand my fault. But at that time I was very angry with Mrs. Wolf. And  I tried to save my kids as soon as possible.                                                                                    

Showman: Now the kids are saved. They are happy and merry, they are together. We hope  that  Mrs. Goat will never leave her kids all alone again. Mr. Wolf will work and he’ll never eat little kids again.

 Mr. Blacksmith, Mr. Baker, Mr. Miller will help only kind and decent people. And of course, all is well, that ends well.

 At the end of our talk- show I’d like Miss Red Cap to sing the song. She is a very good singer.
