Описание картинки и подготовка учащихся к устной части ОГЭ и ЕГЭ

1слайд  Описание картинки в нашей гимназии – это итоговая контрольная работа для учащихся 5 класса, готовиться к которой мы начинаем заранее. 

2 слайд Если вы захотите найти материал по этой проблеме в интернете, то, к сожалению, его не так много. Чаще всего это просто отдельные таблицы или рекомендации по описанию картины художника. Всё это не подходит для того, чтобы научить школьников описывать обыкновенную картинку или фотографию.

3слайд    Методическое объединение учителей английского языка составило подробную схему описания картинки, которая состоит из трёх больших разделов:

1. Вступление
2. Главные части

1. Место
2. Погода и время года
3. Люди и их действия
4. Внешность одного героя

3. Заключение

Помимо этого здесь даны рекомендации, набор ключевых фраз, зрительные опоры, подборка небольших текстов на чтение и аудирование, грамматические таблицы, помогающие научить школьников описывать картинки.

4слайд  Во вступлении, использовав одну из вступительных фраз, данных в разработке учащиеся отвечают на вопросы кого и где они видят. 

5слайд  Главные части

1. Описание места действия

Помимо восклицательных предложений, показывающих отношение говорящего к тому, что он видит,  и подходящих ко многим картинкам, например «What picturesque scene!”, “The place is rather nice!”, “How wonderful the view is!”,  здесь представлены ключевые слова, опираясь на которые учащиеся делают подробное описание картинки.

Этот позволяет ученику ничего не упустить из виду.

Даны примеры правильного построения предложений с причастными оборотами.

6слайд  Конечно, не обходится без дежурных заготовок, выучив которые ученики могут употребить потом для всех картинок.

There are a lot of high trees that add to the beauty of the place.

How fine it is to live in such a place.   etc.

7слайд 2) Природа и погода

 Если фотография сделана на улице, а так чаще всего и бывает, необходимо описать погоду и время года, которое изображено на картинке. Готовя к этой части работы, я беру несколько текстов на чтение, где описаны различные времена года и природные явления.

8слайд  Словарный запас учащихся увеличивается,  выполняются упражнения по активному использованию лексики по теме, повторяется ранее изученная лексика в новых ситуациях. Повторяем грамматические правила: «Степени сравнения прилагательных», «Образование прилагательных от существительных с помощью суффикса «у».

9слайд  Затем составляем описание погоды по нескольким картинкам: зима, лето, ранняя весна, поздняя весна, ранняя осень, поздняя осень. В качестве опоры предлагаются: план, набор слов,  вопросы.

10слайд  3) Люди и их действия.

Работу над описанием действий людей начинаем с повторения времён Present Continuous(основное для описания действий, происходящих на картинке),  Present Perfect, Present Simple, Future Simple. Использование этих времён позволяет объяснить то, что мы видим, предположить, что они уже сделали и предположить, чем могут заняться потом.

Например:

The children have just had breakfast. Now they are playing in the yard. I think they are fond of playing different games. They will probably go swimming as it is very hot.

11слайд       4) Описание внешности

Прежде чем приступить к описанию внешности человека, составляем план описания

1. Возраст
2. Рост
3. Телосложение
4. Волосы/причёска
5. Лицо
6. Одежда
7. Характер

12слайд  Повторяем грамматические правила, например « Порядок слов (прилагательных) перед существительным», «Исчисляемые и неисчисляемые существительные», «Артикли»

13слайд     III. Заключение. Общее впечатление о картинке: понравилась / не понравилась, чем запомнилась, о чём напоминает, с чем связана.

14слайд  Пособия, помогающие подготовить учащихся начальной школы и 5 класса «Skills Builder for Young Learners” (Starters, Movers, Flyers) Elizabeth Gray, Express Publishing

15слайд Используя данные учебники, последовательно через разные виды речевой деятельности (аудирование, чтение, говорение и письмо) происходит обучение описанию картинки. В текстах на аудирование можно услышать, где находятся герои, как выглядят, что делают.

16 слайд Тексты постепенно усложняются: в упражнениях из учебника “ Flyers” присутствуют несколько героев, может быть описана природа, место действия, как одеты герои, их внешность.

17 слайд Мои ученики очень любят выполнять задания такого типа «Раскрась и нарисуй». На дом они получают  задание - дорисовать картинку,  раскрасить её до конца и описать. (включить звуковой файл)

18,19 слайды В этих учебниках картинки всегда сопровождают тексты на чтение. Перед глазами учащихся представлен образец правильно построенного предложения с причастием или сложноподчинённое предложение с which/ who/that.

 Например: The girl who is wearing a red dress is looking at the books.

The boy sitting at the table is reading a book.

20 слайд Примером задания на говорение может служить задание “Find the difference”,  где учащиеся могут сравнить похожие картинки и найти разницу.

или 21 слайд задание составить рассказ по нескольким картинкам.

22 слайд Для учащихся средней и старшей школы могу порекомендовать учебники " Solutions" разного уровня

23 слайд  Здесь представлены упражнения на тренировку времени Present Continuous, в качестве опоры даны глаголы в инфинитиве и картинка.

24 слайд Задание соединить начало и конец предложения, выбрать подходящие к картинке.

25 слайд Задание на аудирование: Прослушайте описание картинки и выберете подходящие  предложения (включить звуковой файл)

26 слайд Ответьте на вопросы по картинке, объясните свои догадки. Вопросы:

Where the people in the photo?

What are they doing?

Why do you think they are so happy?

What makes you happy in everyday life and why?

27,28 слайды Различные виды упражнений « Выбери слова, подходящие к каждой фотографии», «Выберите прилагательные к каждой картинке», «Вставьте пропущенные слова к описанию», «Сравните фотографии, отвечая на вопросы»

29 слайд В учебникe “Longman Exam Activator”  можно найти ключевые фразы, типа

It seems me that the people in the picture…

30-35 слайды Я часто использую этот учебник в 9 классе, так как здесь представлена пошаговая работа с картинками. Даны примеры разнообразных упражнений, слова – опоры, набор подходящих картинок, можно услышать варианты описания как одной, так и двух фотографий.

36 слайд В заключение хочется порекомендовать:

• начинать работу по описанию картинки как можно раньше
• составить план или схему, лучше с кем-нибудь из коллег
• обеспечить себя и учащихся необходимыми пособиями и учебниками
• работать последовательно, усложняя и увеличивая лексический и грамматический материал
• обучение описанию вести через обучение аудированию и чтению
• готовить учащихся к ограниченным временным рамкам (как при подготовке так и при ответе).

*начните с фактов, с объективного описания:

*далее переходите к интерпретации

*не забывайте об опорных выражениях при описании картинки

The woman looks very happy.

It looks as if she’s enjoying herself.

He may be older than he looks.

1. Here is a nice picture that I’d like to describe. To begin with, in this picture I can see a group of people outdoors. They are in a village.
2. 1) Have a look. What a wonderful view. There is a bank of a deep river in the foreground. We can see two boys swimming in it and a lot of people near it. In the centre of the picture there are two big buildings. One of them on the right is a village shop I think. In front of the shop on the road there is a new red car. No doubt it is very expensive and fast.

Look! In the background we can see a house which is not built and two people who are working there. In the far distance we can see a rocket which is going to take off. Everything around is full of life and joy. There is a lot of green grass and green bushes which add to the beauty of the place. There is so much light and fresh air. How fine it is to rest in such a place.
