2. We are glad to see you at our party today!

1. Not so long ago we celebrated the best holidays in people’s life. They are New Year’s Day and Chridtmas.

2. Do you like these holidays? (…-yes!)

1. Different countries…

2. Different traditions…

1. Different holidays…

2. But all over the world these two holidays.

1. Imagine: the smell of tangerines, fur-tress, tasty food, nice fancy costumers…

2. Joy is everywhere! Fireworks, lights, music!

1. Imagine: you are still a little kid. You still believe in wonders and mircles and you wait for Christmas presents which somebody brings…

2. Who is this mysterious character?

1. Whom do people in Britain wait for at midnight?

2. Whom do people in America and Australia wait for at night?

1.2. He is… Santa Claus! Santa Claus come here!

1. But in our wonderful and distinctive country we celebrate New Year’s Day on the 31th of December and on the 1st of January it differs from Christmas in other countries where it is celebrated in December, 25. And the old man who brings us presents has got another name. How do we call him? –Father Frost.

2. So, let’s call to our New Year party!

3. Father Frost: I am here. Hello, Children! Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! Who wants to get presents from Father Frost? Can you sing? Can you dance? Can you act plays? Can you show me all these?

1. Yes, dear Father Frost. Our pupils have prepared a lot of interesting things for you. Get ready to watch and to listen to…

2. The pupils of the 5th and 6th forms have prepared a scene «Winnie-Pooh» by Alan Milne.

1. Olga Ivanova recites a poem «Some Fun» by E. Segal.

2. Listen to the verse «The Frost» by Gould Meet! Glebkina Victoria and Feskov Dmitry the 7th form.

2. Pupils from the 6th form want to show you a fairy-tail. Watch! «The flower meeting»

1. Rakitina Tanya from the 6th class recites a poem. «New Year».

2. Do you like singing? Well, listen to the song sung by our little friends. «Talking to the moon». 5th form Emelianova Julia.

1. Now enjoy a scene from the well-known story about Tom Sawyer written by Mark Twain. Meet: Monastirskaya Vaktria, Kornienko Alex,  Borisov Igor and Shestakov Maxim.

2. A group of girls performs a song «Help». The 6th form.

1. The pupils of the 5th form act a fable «The Fox and the Crane». Meet! Kruzhkova Anastasia and Kiseleva Veronika.

2. Everybody wishes each other the best things and all the dreams to become true Now listen to a short poem «A child’s wish» recited by Komeshko Alexandra.

1. Remember Michail Jackson. He wanted all the peopleto be goad and kind. Look! The girls from the 10th form present… (Dance 10a)

2. We wish you to be friends «The arrow and the song» by Longfellow. Desna Alexandra, from the 10th recites.

1. Now listen to the song «Silent Night». Evgenieva Galina from the 10th form.

2. Let’s have a fun! Meet! «Pinocchio»! The 6th form.

1. Proshin Ilya recites a poem written by Stiwenson «Bed in Summer». Summer and winter… What is the best?

2. Abramova Alexandra wants to sing a song. Please, listen! «Once upon a December».

1. The dearest person for all us is mother. We wish our mothers health, wealth and peace. A poem «My mother». Stebihova Ekaterina the 6th form.

2. Be happy, be clever, be good at school and be friends! «Be my friends» - Chekankova Anastasia the 6th form.

1. Everybody wants to be led by a happy star. Let it be! «Twinkle, twinkle little star» - Zakamornaya Anastasia(10th form) ans Lukashevich Dana (the 6th form).

2. The girls of 11th form have prepared a dance. Come on, girls!
