Пояснительная записка

Квест – это приключение, как правило, игровое, во время которого участнику или участникам нужно пройти череду препятствий для достижения какой-либо цели.
Квесты развивают:

- внимание;

- навык получать задание для выполнения;

- умение анализировать информацию;

- стремление к достижению цели;

- ловкость и смекалку;

- взаимодействие в команде.

Кроме того, квесты дарят яркие эмоции.

Цель квест-игры «The Great English Quest»: развитие интереса обучающихся к изучению английского языка.

Задачи:

образовательные: расширять кругозор обучающихся;

развивающие: развивать интеллектуальные способности; формировать мотивацию к изучению английского языка;

воспитательные: формировать умение работать в команде; воспитывать уважительное отношение к культуре англоязычных стран.

Название квеста: «The Great English Quest» или «В поисках сокровищ английской короны»

Цель: Пройти все станции, выполнить задания и собрать ключевые слова, чтобы в финале разгадать главную фразу.

Целевая аудитория: 5-9 классы

Время: Квест будет проходить в течение всей недели (каждый день новая станция).

Команды: Участвуют команды по 3-5 человек от каждого класса.

Общая структура:

Каждая команда получает карту-путеводитель (Map) с маршрутом и зачетную книжку (Score Card). На станциях команды выполняют задания и получают за это часть ключевой фразы. Также за быстроту и правильность можно начислять баллы.

Финал: Собрав все слова, команды должны составить из них известную английскую цитату «Lost time is never found again» (Потерянное время никогда не вернется). Первая команда, которая правильно составит цитату  и произнесет ее, становится победителем.

Описание станций (Station Descriptions):

Место проведения: учебные кабинеты.

Длительность проведения квеста: 15-20 каждый этап

Критерии оценивания и подведение итогов. На первом этапе учащиеся получают оценочный лист. Педагоги на каждом этапе оценивают работы группы, выставляя баллы. За каждое пройденное задание получают 5 баллов. Сумма баллов за этап прописывается в оценочном листе в графу “Scores” напротив названия этапа. По итогам квеста определяется победитель.

Участники команды, занявшие призовые места, награждаются дипломами победителей, остальные команды награждаются дипломами участников.

Every day during this week, you will pass through one station. After the passing the station, you will receive a word.  You need to assemble a quote from these words. At the end of the week, we will find out who wins.  Today is the first station - Cultural Crossroads (Перекресток культур). The first task is a quiz. We will test your knowledge of the countries of the language you are studying. Are you ready? Let's start our exciting quest!  Good luck to all!
