I am Julia, an English teacher, ELT materials developer, and a passionate lover of learning everything new!

What I like about my job is the opportunity to learn something new, not only about other people but also about myself. I love the chance to help and the understanding that I am important to my students. Even when they are not in the classroom, they think about me while doing their homework, walking, or just chatting with friends. I can not only share my experience, knowledge, good mood, and perspectives but also learn new and interesting things for myself. I just LOVE my job because it gives me a chance to become a better person.

Like any other profession, teaching means you have to cultivate everything good in yourself and develop your knowledge and skills. English is changing very fast, so you need to keep up and sometimes even outpace it. I really appreciate the opportunity to do what I love, learn about new cultures and teaching techniques, and meet new people. There are so many opportunities for learning now. Many books on teaching and learning are being published, and teachers from all over the world share their experience.

I consider choosing this profession and way of life my greatest achievement so far.
