I am Iuliia, an English teacher, ELT materials developer, passionate lover of studying and learning everything new!
What I like about my job is an opportunity to learn something new not only in other people but also in myself. The opportunity to help, understanding that you are really important for your students. Even when they are not in a classroom, they think about you doing their homework, walking or just chatting with friends. I can not only share my experience and knowledge, good mood, attitude to something but also learn something new and interesting for me. I just LOVE my job because it gives a chance to become a better person.
As any other profession, teaching means you have to cultivate everything good in yourself, cultivate your knowledge and skills. English is changing really fast, you need to keep up, sometimes, outpace. I really appreciate the opportunity to do what I like, learn new cultures, teaching techniques, new people. There are so many opportunities for learning now. Lots of books on teaching and learning are published, teachers from all over the world share their experience.
The right choice of my profession and way of life I consider to be my greatest achievement so far.
