A puzzle

1. This story is about three kittens.
2. Their names are Pinky, Blackie and Reddy.
3. They have got a mother but she is not with them now.
4. Mrs Paw visits and helps the kittens because she is their mum’s friend.
5. It’s a sunny day today and the kittens are in the garden.
6. Pinky is swinging, Blackie is reading and Reddy is watching the birds.
7. They are having a nice day together.

A nice day

1. The kittens are in the house today.
2. Pinky is sleeping in the cupboard, Blackie is sitting on the sofa and Reddy is playing with his tail under the chair.
3. The kittens want to play together.
4. Now Pinky is playing with Reddy’s tail, Reddy is playing with Blackie’s tail and Blackie is playing with Pinky’s tail.
5. The kittens are very happy.
6. What a nice day!

An apple ball

1. It’s autumn.
2. It’s Pinky’s birthday and she is eight months today.
3. She has got two presents: Blackie’s present is a red ball and Reddy’s present is a box of chocolates.
4. Mrs Paw gives Pinky a big birthday cake.
5. The kittens drink tea and eat chocolates together and then they play with the red ball.
6. Pinky catches the ball with her teeth and now there is a big hole in the ball and the kittens can’t play with it now.
7. They go to the garden and play with the apples.
8. When there is a hole in the apple, they eat it and play with another ball.
9. The kittens are very clever.

Snow

1. It is winter and it is snowing.
2. The kittens are in the living room and they are looking at the snow through the window.
3. Pinky puts on her warm clothes and boots and goes to play in the snow.
4. Blackie and Reddy are at home.
5. Then Reddy puts on his warm clothes and goes out.
6. Pinky and Reddy run, make snowmen, jump and dance in the snow.
7. They make snowballs and throw them at the snowmen, they are having fun.
8. Suddenly they see Blackie.
9. Now the kittens are playing together and they are happy.

A film or lunch?

1. It’s very cold today and the kittens are in the house.
2. They are watching a film.
3. The film is interesting and it is about a mouse.
4. But Reddy is hungry when he sees a mouse so they take another film and watch it.
5. The film is interesting and it is about a fish.
6. But Reddy is hungry when he sees a fish so they take another film and watch it.
7. The film is interesting and it is about a bird.
8. But Reddy is hungry when he sees a bird so now the kittens don’t take another film.
9. They have lunch together.
10. Now the kittens are not hungry and they can watch different films.

Well done, Pinky

1. It’s Sunday today and it is the kittens’ cleaning day.
2. They tidy up the house and they have a bath on Sunday.
3. Pinky is cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom, Blackie is cleaning the bedroom and Reddy is cleaning the dining room.
4. When the house is clean, Pinky wants to work in the garden.
5. But Blackie and Reddy are tired and they don’t want to work.
6. Pinky says that the trees and flowers are thirsty and asks to help.
7. The kittens water the trees and the flowers together.
8. Mrs Paw visits the kittens on Sundays.
9. She looks at the clean house and at the trees and flowers and she is very happy.

A monster

1. It is hot and sunny today.
2. The kittens are hot and they go to the lake.
3. The lake is big but the water is cold.
4. The kittens swim and play.
5. Pinky and Reddy go out of the lake but Blackie doesn’t want to go out.
6. Blackie is still in the water and Pinky is very sad.
7. So Reddy walks into the water, dives and then he swims to Blackie and bites him.
8. Blackie cries and runs out of the water.
9. He thinks that there is a terrible monster in the lake.
10. But now Reddy doesn’t want to go out of the lake and Pinky is not happy again.

A  visitor

        1. It is evening.

      2. The kittens are in the house.

      3. It’s very late, but they don’t want to go to bed.

      4. There is a big empty vase in the room.

      5. Suddenly the kittens hear a noise in the vase.

      6. There is a mouse in the vase.

      7. Pinky is afraid of mice, he jumps upon a shelf and hides behind the books.

      8. Blackie is hungry. He wants to catch the mouse, but he can’t.

      9. The mouse runs into a hole in the floor.

     10. The kittens go to bed.

Ted

      1. It is Ted’s birthday today.

      2. He is one.

      3. Ted is a small grey kitten with kind big green eyes and a short tail.

      4. The kittens give him the present- a toy fish and sing “Happy birthday to you!”

      5. Then they have lunch.

      6. There is a lot of food: French fries and cheese, sandwiches and biscuits, fruit and ice      

          cream.

      7. Blackie likes French fries and he hopes Pinky and Reddy don’t like it.

      8. But they like French fries very much and they eat together.

      9. After lunch they play and watch TV.

      10. Everyone is happy.

A magical tub

       1. It’s Sunday today.

       2. Kittens’ mummy comes.

       3. Their mum is very clean and she likes when her kittens are clean too.

       4. They go to the bathroom.

       5. There is a big tub there.

       6. Kittens like their tub, because it’s magical.

       7. Blackie has got a white spot on his nose, Reddy has got yellow ears, but Pinky is

           always white.

       8. Suddenly Ted comes.

       9. He can’t believe, that Blackie and Reddy are Pinky’s brothers and goes away.

       10. The kittens go to the garden and jump into a magical puddle.

An escape

        1. Mummy is at Mrs .Paw’s house.

        2. The kittens are playing in the garden.

        3. Suddenly they see a woman, she is coming to them.

        4. She takes Pinky in her arms and goes out.

        5. Pinky can’t bite the woman, because she is very kind.

        6. Pinky is at the woman’s house.

        7. She wants Pinky to be her pet Pussy.

        8. Pinky’s brothers help her.

        9. They jump on the cupboard, bookcases, shelves and the table and break the vase,

            cups and plates.

        10. The woman doesn’t like it and she throws Pinky out.

Helping mummy

         1. The kittens are helping their mum in the garden.

         2. Reddy is planting potatoes, Pinky is planting carrots and Blackie is planting  

             tomatoes.            

         3. Every day Pinky and Reddy go to the garden and water their seeds.

         4. Blackie doesn’t water his seeds every day, because he is lazy.

         5. There aren’t any carrots or potatoes, there’s only a small tomato in the leaves.

         6. Carrots and potatoes hide in the ground and the kittens dig them out.

         7. Blackie is crying, because he has got a green tomato.

         8. Now he works in the garden every day and there are a lot of tomatoes.

         9. Tomatoes are red and the kittens eat them together.

Goodbye

          1. The kittens are going to their mum’s sister, aunt Fatty.

          2. They are taking their toys with them: cars, aeroplanes, helicopters, Pinky’s dolls

               and their clothes-skirts, trousers, shirts and shorts, dresses and shoes.

          3. Pinky likes clothes very much.

          4. Blackie is taking his toys in the garden.

          5. They are stones and sticks, frogs and toads.

          6. The kittens are in the garden.

          7. They have got a lot of bags.

          8. They are ready to go and say “Goodbye” to their house.
