My name is Alexander Gvozdev. I am 51 years old. I was born in Gdov, where my primary school education began.
My education continued in the secondary school of the village of Lebyazhue, Lomonosov district, Leningrad region.
After school I graduated from the military school and became an Air Force officer, helicopter flight engineer. It was a very difficult but intresting work. After retirement from the military service, I faced the question what path do I want to take next.
My family consist of a mother, two sisters ,three children and granddaughter.
My future profession is a teacher I chose pedagogy and entered the Pushkin State University of Leningrad, where I am currently studying.
I believe that a teacher should have a talent, as well as an actor, writer or a doctor. Before you decide on a profession and make it enjoyable, not a punishment for you, you need to listen to the advice of authoritative people, psychologists, good teachers. You need to observe the work from the "inside" and assess your abilities. Teachers do not only teach their subjects. They develop their pupils’ intellect, their attitudes to life and to other people . I believe that teacher is the most important person in child’s life after parents.
Effective teachers can motivate and inspire children to reach their potential even if they don’t want to or feel that they can't. Ineffective teachers can also impact a child just as much, but in a negative manner. Both types of teachers have an immediate impact on a child’s perception of self, good or bad.
And I dream of being a teacher because teaching is the most important job in the world. I hope that I will succeed and I will never be disappointed about my choice.
