Some words about my reading I like reading books especially classic, fairy-tales, adventure stories, books about animals. I can live, travel and make friends with my favorite characters. My favorite books are “The Last of the Mohicans” and “Robinson Crusoe”.

“ The Last of the Mohicans”. Some words about author This attractive book was written by James Fennimore Cooper at the age of 30. He travelled a lot. His best books are about settlers and American Indians. This book is very popular with children and grown-ups.

The plot of “The Last of the Mohicans” The book is about the war between England and France. It also tells a lot about the Indians’ life and traditions. The author shows that Indians can be both good and bad like white people.

Characters in “The Last of the Mohicans” The main characters are Chingachgook and Uncas. They are the last of the Mohicans. My favorite character is Hawk-Eye. He is a white man. And he said that all people must be friends. He was friendly to the Indians. I also read it in English. It was very interesting to read the author’s text.

“ Robinson Crusoe”. The author’s biography I also like another story. It’s “Robinson Crusoe” by Daniel Dephoe. It’s his the most popular book. The book was written at the 17 th century and had a great success because it’s a publicity book, talking about the events of that time.

The plot of “Robinson Crusoe” The story tells about a young man, Robinson Crusoe. His parents wanted him to be a jurist, but Robinson became a sailor and ran away . When he was in ships, he had a great trouble. One day the ship was broken near the island where Robin lived for 28 years, spending his time in hunting, building, making farm and praying.

Characters in “Robinson Crusoe” My favorite hero is Robinson Crusoe. Although he ran from his family and became a sailor, he realized many things about life and religion. He wasn’t a feary man. He was smart. He had animals and culture plants. I’ve read this book either Russian or English.

Recommendations I recommend these books to my friends, because they are about a real friendship, faith, different life situations and they are very interesting.
