The drought. The drought — a long and considerable lack of a rain, is more often at the increased temperature and the lowered humidity of air as a result of which moisture stocks in the soil run low that conducts to decrease or death of a crop.

The beginning of a drought is usually connected with anti-cyclone establishment.

The abundance of solar heat and dryness of air create the raised isparyaemost (an atmospheric drought), and stocks of soil moisture without replenishment by their rains are exhausted (a soil drought).

At a drought water inflow in plants through root systems is at a loss, the consumption of moisture on a transpiratsiya starts to surpass its inflow from the soil, the water saturation of fabrics falls, normal conditions of photosynthesis and a carbon food are broken.
