Youth problems

Our research is devoted to Youth Problems.

The aim of our research is to examine and analyze the main youth problems among our classmates (nine formers).

It is very actual now days because a lot of teenagers can face these problems and it is very important to understand our attitude to them.

31 nine formers were asked and now we present the result of our research.

We have looked through such problems as smoking, drugs, drinking problems and some other.

We think that the drinking problem is the most actual in our village. A lot of teenagers drink beer and other alcoholic drinks almost every day. As for our classmates:

-6 pupils have never had a drink of alcohol;

-25 pupils tasted alcohol drinks at the age of 13-15 years old;

-18 pupils tasted alcohol drinks on a holiday with friends;

-5 without any reason;

-2 on a holiday with parents;

But it is necessary to say that the most of them tasted alcohol drinks only once or twice.

We understand that it’s very harmful habit.

The other very important problem is smoking. Many boys and girls want to look older and more independent and begin to smoke.

Among our nine formers only 7 pupils smokes, 24 don’t and 22 smoked once.

We must mention the other very important problem – drugs.

A lot of teens become drug addicts and we must understand the dangerous of drugs.

Doing our research we discovered that the mentioned problems are combined with some family and school problems. It is poor academic performance, misunderstanding from parents and teachers. By the way, 7 pupils who smokes, have poor academic performance.

And what can we do to avoid these problem? At first, we must do our best at school. It’s our main duty.

And spare time is very important. If we have useful occupation, we’ll not use drugs, alcohol or cigarettes.

We must be able to solve many problems of the humankind in the future.
