«How Can We Help Homeless Animals?»

The problem of stray dogs is very vexed not only in Moscow but throughout Russia. Every day we meet homeless animals in streets but nobody needs them! This is the man who has responsibility for the fact that the dog doesn’t have home and owner. As a result packs of hungry, ill and miserable dogs roam in our cities and breed without control.

The goal of the research is to find the ways to help homeless animals in our country. In the author's opinion all of us can do a bit to improve their life. The author provides the study of foreign experience and compare it with the work of animal shelters in Russia. The author makes the questionnaire and interviews to find out the attitude to the problem among the students and teachers of the gymnasium№1538.
On the basis of the results obtained in the course of the research, the author works out some suggestions to improve the situation.
