KONDRATY BELOV IS ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS OMSK ARTISTS His house museum is located on Сhokan Valikhanov street. This house was built in the end of 19 th century. The museum was opened on March 29, 1991, 3 years after K.P. Belov’s death. In the museum we can see some of his paintings and furniture.

Kondraty Petrovich Belov was born in 1900. He painted epic landscapes and historical revolutionary works. He had an unofficial title “the patriarch of Siberian painting”.

This museum is very inreresting because there visitors can see the studio of Kondraty Petrovich and some of his works.

Every Monday Omsk artists gather in the museum for so called “art Mondays”, when they have the opportunity to paint and discuss art. The visitors can have tea with pies in the dining room after the excursions.
