What is it ? Sequoia- it’s a coniferous tree. It’s can be 100 meters in height & 12 meters in width. Sequoia can live to 5000 years. But it started from little seed.

Leaves & cones Leaves are 15 to 25 millimeters in length at young trees. At old trees they are 5 to 10 millimeters. Cones are 15 to 32 centimeters in length. They ripen 8 or 9 months.

Good weather for sequoia Sequoia likes air from Pacific ocean. If situated in ravines, because there are fogs.

Hiperion The most height sequoia is Hiperion in the National Park “Red wood”. The height of Hiperion is 115 meters.
