MY NATIVE TOWN

There are many beautifull cities and towns in the world. I would like to visit some of them, to see with my own eyes what I have read or heard about. But there is no place like home. I was born in Lermontov and I live with my parents.
It was founded in 1953.
. It is an industrial town. It is a pleasant place to live in.
There are 5 secondary schools, musical and art school, sports center with swimming pool and a stadium, a tennis court and gym. There is also a hospital, a cinema, some libraries in our town.
And what I like most about L. that it’s very green. There are 2 parks in it. In one of them you can see the monument to the great Russian poet Lermontov.
Our town is surrounded by several mountains. And they influence the weather very much. We have more sunny days there that anywhere else in the C.M.W.R. The nature is very beautiful here. People take every opportunity to go for a walk to the forest or to the spring. Its water is health giving. I love my town very much.
