М any families have their own values, some traditions that are passed from the older to the younger generation s so that they are saved. I also received a value which must be passed to my children when time comes.

Once a year we celebrate one of the greatest holiday in the world 9 May, the Victory Day.

And for my family this holiday is special. Especially is, when we celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Victory, because the Great Patriotic war was a part of my great- grandparents lives. I would like to share their story with you.

Some time also by writing an article for the newspaper.

My acquaintance with all kinds of stories about the war began in the classroom when I was in the 2 nd from .My father`s article I read a little. It was published in the magazine article. From there, I learned that my great-grandmother fought on the anti-aircraft batteries. There, she told how one bomb hit the dugout, where there were some girls and they're gone.

It was written about in a newspaper article titled " Frontovichka ." She finishe the war in Kenigsberg . As for my great-grandfather , I learned a little that he sought in Prussia, was awarded the Order of the Red Star.

Personally, from my mother, I learned about another great-grandfather, but too little. I know only that he was a spy, and the fact that after the war was paralyzed.

After reading the essay and still learning the stories of family members. I became proud of my family. I began to realize what a price people pay to return to a life and started watching many movies about the war including documentaries. I became aware of all the horror of war, began to appreciate my life .

I knew I had to keep the value of my family that I was given. Now there are less and less veterans of the war staying . Soon only the writer stories of great-grandparents. And pass it to my children , as did my family. I think that such tradition must exist.
