Greece is situated on Balkan Peninsula now. The Ancient Greece was situated in this area too . There are about 2000 different islands . Such as: Ithaca Island, Rodos Island, Milosz Island and Krit Island .

Dwellings were very modest without common comfort Sometimes people didn’t live in their little houses and spent the night outdoors . The streets were narrow and sinuous. Athens saved the poorest look for a long time. Athens was burnt, but it was rebuilt with the same negligence . Streets had random direction. Houses were little and uncomfortable Strangers spoke about Athens with contempt. But bit by bit luxury entered into dwellings. New buildings were being appeared. The Greek dwelling looked like this

The Olympic Games The Olympic Games were a religious and sports festival which had been held in Olympia. Scientists think that the 1-st Olympic Games were conducted in 776 BC . At the time of the games was declared a sacred truce. Any wars were banned but sometimes this truce was disturbed.
