London is famous of its picturesque parks. Hyde is one of them. It is a royal park.

The area of the park is 1.4 km2. It is situated in the center of London.

The lake Serpentain is the most enjoyable place in the park. It got its name thanks to their unusual form looking like a snake. You can go booting and fishing here and even swim. There is a beautiful bridge over the lake.

But the most famous place is the Speakers Corner. In 1872 the prime minister of GB ordered to organize this place. You can hear all kinds of speakers there and even speak yourself.

There is a Rotten Row in the park. It was the first road in the country lit by 300 lamps. “Rotten Row” is the French for “the king way”.

One place is very unusual. It is the pets Cemetery. There are 300 graves of pets with touching words devoted to pets. It is opened once a year.
