Работы учащихся 4 класса по итогам 2015-2016 учебного года
Я работаю по УМК ” К английскому с любовью!” И.Н.Верещагина и др. и УМК ”Brilliant” Ю.А.Комарова. И метод проектов может использоваться в рамках программного материала практически по любой теме. Каждый проект соотносится с определенной темой и разрабатывается в течение нескольких уроков. Осуществляя эту работу, школьники могут, например, рассказывать и писать о собственной жизни, создавать собственный журнал, готовить макеты и т.д. В 4 классе оформление материалов проектной деятельности проходит при помощи информационно-компьютерных технологий (Microsoft Word, Paint и PowerPoint). Ребята активно используют знания, полученные на уроках информатики, печатают текст, используя разные шрифты, размеры, цвет, выделяют заголовок, вставляют картинку или фото, составляют таблицы, простейшие презентации. Многообразие средств выражения смысла выводит детей в свободное творчество. Это удачная по простоте методическая находка — ключ к построению проектных заданий, где языковой элемент представлен скупо — до продвинутого уровня, где он играет ведущую роль. При этом, проектная работа, обладает уникальными возможностями для действительно коммуникативного обучения иностранному языку даже при опоре на минимальные языковой материал.

The last Thursday in November, as you know, is a holiday in America. People call this holiday Thanksgiving Day. It is perhaps the most important day in the American year. People go to church, and families come together for the day. They decorate their houses with the fruits and flowers of autumn and prepare traditional American food: roast turkey, potatoes and pumpkin. It's rather like Christmas, but what are people celebrating? What are they giving thanks for? Do you remember the first colonists in New England? In 1620 they came to America and began a new life there. It was a very hard life. The colonists started to farm the land. The work was difficult and full of danger.
In New England, the place where they lived, there were many wild birds. They were like chickens but much bigger. They were turkeys. In the autumn of 1621 the colonists had their first harvest. It was rather good. The colonists decided to have a special dinner. They wanted to thank God — to give him their thanks for many things. It was a difficult year, but the people still had food to eat. The colonists had a thanksgiving dinner for all the people. It lasted three days. For the whole three days they gave thanks for their good harvest and their happy year in a new country. Wild turkeys were on the table of this meal, and since then the turkey has become a symbol of Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving Day is one of the most favorite holidays in the United States .
T he first Thanksgiving day was celebrated by pilgrims in autumn of 1621 . They were European travelers who sailed on « Mayflower » ship and tried to find the New World .
E very fourth Thursday of October American people celebrate this holiday .
P eople in Canada also celebrate Thanksgiving day but it falls on every second Thursday of October .
P eople usually stay at home and have a big family dinner . Nowadays Americans continue celebrating This holiday and the main dish is still turkey .
T he most popular dessert is a pumpkin pie .

The United States of America is the fourth largest country in the world (after Russia, Canada and China ).
It is situated in the central part of the North American Continent.
It also includes Alaska and Hawaii. The USA borders on Canada in the north and on Mexico on the south. The total area of the country is more than nine million square kilometers.
It is washed by the Pacific Ocean in the west and the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico in the east.
It is a very large country, so the climate is different from state to state. It is mostly temperate but tropical in Hawaii and Florida, and arctic in Alaska.
The largest cities of the USA are:
New York
Los Angeles
Chicago
Philadelphia
San-Francisco
Baltimore
Atlanta
... and many others.
One of the famous symbols of the USA is the Statue of Liberty.
