Tatarsk is a town (since January 27, 1911) in Russia, the administrative center of the Tatar district of Novosibirsk region. It forms a municipality of the town of Tatarsk with the status of urban settlement/

Arriving in Tatarsk, you can visit The clock tower

For almost twenty years, one of the most recognizable symbols of our town is the clock tower. Clock was appeared in Tatarsk in October 1990. And almost immediately received an unusual nickname from the “Tatars big Ben". The clock faces, each more than a meter high, look at the three sides of the world, and every hour they can mark the bells. The clock mechanism for the tower was gathered by Abram Steffen from villager Neudachino.

The Church Of The Intercession Of The Blessed Virgin Mary

Next to the memorial is the Church of the Intercession of the blessed virgin. In 1994 father Tikhon, Bishop of Novosibirsk and Barnaul, consecrated the place for the construction and the Foundation stone of the future Church. It was built by the Novosibirsk architect I. I. Rudenko. On 8 July 2001 the temple was consecrated, later six bells were brought from Kamensk-Uralsk. 4 January 2001. the bells were raised on the bell tower.

Historical Museum named after N. I. Savchenko

The Museum consists of two buildings: the main building and an outdoor area. The main building houses exhibitions reflecting the history of the town, district, the great Patriotic war, the war in Afghanistan, the life of citizens and villagers in different years. On the demonstration site there are military and rare equipment available in the Museum.
