There was a king in a palace,

Who wants to change all his dwellings

A cottage, a tent,

A hotel with a rent

And a flat he builds in his palace.

There was a man whose name was Warren,

He likes to work as a traffic warden.

Pedestrians and drivers

Don’t cross yellow lines

So strict was an amazing man Warren.

There was a Young Lady of Niger,

Who smiled as she rode on a tiger;

They returned from the ride

With the Lady inside,

    And the smile on the face of the tiger.
