PLAYBILL We would like to present you this playbill because we are keen on theater and we would like to share with you our emotions. In 2015 on the stage of the Magnitogorsk Drama Theatre was shown the event which were awaited eagerly by theater-goers of the city. For the first time, residents of Magnitogorsk saw the production where two theatrical genres - drama and opera were mixed organically. The production of «Amadeus» became possible thanks to the grant «Inspiration» about 2,5 million rubles from the Head of the city. The artists from two theaters took part in this giant project. There were about 80 people. The play Amadeus was the gift at the 8 5th anniversary of Pushkin’s Drama Theatre. In our opinion, this playbill is worth seeing. The play «Amadeus» was presented to the audience on October 29 and it was the result of their joint work. Also, the play was written by Peter Scheffer and the French director Anne Seler . The crowd of spectators and our classmates were impressed by the performance of the artists of the Pushkin’s Drama Theater and colleagues from the Opera House. We would like to tell you about the best moments of the premiere of the play «Amadeus» because we will keep all memories of that unforgettable play for a long time.

Dialogue - Hi, Stefani! How are you? - Hi! I’m tired. I’m tiding my room for two hours. My room is a mess! What about you? - I'm Ok. So, true. Do you want to have a rest? - Yes, yes I do! Do we go anywhere? - Sure! Let’s go to the theatre. - Really? Okeeey . What is a play? - It’s Amadeus by Peter Sheffer . Shall we? - Hm … I don’t hear anything about this play. Maybe go to the cinema instead? - You know, I am an active theatre- goer . Nowadays, I faced with a cruel reality that only a few people of my age go to the theatres. But it is worth seeing. And I really want to show you how magic happens on the stage. I read in the book that « all the world is a stage, and all the men and women merely players». I couldn't understand the meaning of this phrase until three years ago I went to the theater for the first time. - Ok. I’m interested in Amadeus. What is this play about? - Amadeus is the story about famous genius of music Mozart through the eyes of the average composer Antonio Salieri . I think the main point is that Salieri is a simple person like you and me. But unfortunately, not all of us can’t be the second Mozart. - Ok, Ok. I am eager to go to the performance. What time should me meet and where? - At 5 pm at your place. We’ll go to the theatre by taxi. Deal? - Deal, I’ll wait you at my place by 5 pm. What should I wear? Honestly, it will be the first time when I go to the theatre. - Well, I think the best variant is a plain dress and wool pullover. It’s windy outside. - Ok, thank you! See you! - You are welcome. Bye!

REVIEW “Amadeus” by Petter Sheffer Glory, envy and murder. You can find all these and more in this excellent play. It is about love for the art of music but it is also about much more. «Amadeus» is set in Vienna during the Court of Joseph the second. It is about the most talented and genius composer of the 18 th century – Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through the eyes of the average composer Antonio Salieri . There are rumors in the air that Salieri is a killer. He cannot accept the gift of God to such person like Mozart. The play tells us how envy can lead into temptation and thoughtless behavior. Why did I enjoy this play? Well, the plot was very exciting and interesting. What is more, performance was a pleasant surprise for me. The believable game and vocals of the actors moved the audience to that era. Also, the beautiful decorations and costumes had recreated the spirit of that time. I should say that music was performed by the orchestra and took the main role. The play showed me how lived compositors and the darkest side of glory and talent. All in all, if you like drama and tragedy or you are interested in history or you just love listening to classical music, I can highly recommend “Amadeus”. It left incredible impression on us. We’d hope that we could share with you our emotions. That’s all we wanted to say about this play.
