The college originates in 1942 at the Electrical Engineering College of the Moscow Electric Lamp Factory. And already in 1947 it became independent and was transferred to the electronic industry of the USSR. After some time, the college produced 16 thousand qualified specialists. Then the Moscow State College of Informatics and Electronic Technologies was connected to the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
