The Voice of Nomads is an international music event that takes the form of an ethnomusicological festival. Its philosophy is based on three fundamental principles: progress, mobility, and freedom. The festival's motto is "A space for free music, for free people." It creates a new environment for interaction, a new dimension at the crossroads of urban culture and indigenous traditions. Since 2009, the event has been held annually during the summer in Atsagat , Re s public of Buryatia. Originally a local celebration of ethnomusicology, The Voice of Nomads has become one of the largest international music festivals outside the Urals.
