Coco Chanel ( her real name is Gabriel Bonyor Chanel) She was born on the19 th of August. She died on the10 th of January.

She was born in a poor family . Her mother died , when Gabriel was 12 years old. She had been living in a shelter for 5 years .

When she was 17 , she began working as a seller in a clothes shop , she spent her free time singing in a cafe . Her songs « Ko Ko Ri Ko » and « Qui qua vu Coco » gave her a nickname « C о c о» .

French officer Et`en Balzan fall in love with Chanel . She moved to him . Just in Et’en’s house she created the unusual dress without a corset and a fluffy skirt. It was the first work of a famous couturier .

Coco’s love with Balzan was unhappy . Balzan left her.But soon she met an English manufacturer. His name was Arthur Keppel. B ut the ir love didn ’ t last long: Arthur died because of a heart attack during the competition.
