BACK TO THE FUTURE «Space Tourist Adventure» SUMMER 2009 These are my best friends. It wasthe period when we weredreaming about space flights. Wewanted to become fearlesscaptains and fly into space. Thefact was that we didn’t spend summer holidaystogether and now we have much to talk about.We come to our meeting on thefirst of September as usual.Everybody had a great desire totell us about the greatest adventures. Is there anything more beautiful and mysterious than the huge disks of different planets and big bright stars shining above? When I see the night sky it pictures in my mind that very day when I was in the open Space. My last summer holidays were special. It was my first flight into Space and I was a little bit nervous. I was so impressed with the view that was opening before my eyes. I tried to make photos. Everything was marvelous. But the thick fog came down suddenly. I tried to fly very carefully and even took our usual short way to the nearest planet. But the fact was that I had lost my way. I had to land on an unknown planet. It was a nice place – quite wild,with clumps of big red hills. I thought it was a desert, but a small islandof vegetation was seen far away. Something had got wrong with myengine. I spent some time there and had a chance to explore the planetbefore safely returned home. This is the planet that I had to land at. I couldn’t but imagine that there was a forest there. Suddenly I saw something standing on the road in front of me. I stopped. Thefigure didn’t move away. It was a Wooden creature. I wasfrightened. Coughing slightly I said ‘Hello!” but there were noanswer. I turned and saw another figure on the road. I stood there in the light of the big lamp. When the light came down I saw a big hill with the entrance. Two strange creatures let me in. It was our first meeting. Theydidn’t let me to tell about everything I had seen inside. They were so kind to take photos with them. I was glad to make new friends. They helped me to repair the spaceship. They wished me all the best and safety landing on my planet. I was so sorry but my family was waiting for me. I had to return home. Now I have something special to tell my friends on the Earth. Now I am at school with my classmates. I try to study hard to open new unknown worlds. May be somehow I’ll meet my strange friends from another planet.The composition was written by Olga PonamorenkoForm 92009
