The best day of the year

Is Victory Day.

Everyone is so grateful –

We want so much to repay.

To repay to the forefathers

For our joy and our smiles,

For their lives and their deaths

And for heroic sacrifice.

We still do remember them

After so many years have passed.

And Russian people will never forget.

We must keep this remembrance… we must.

I am going to tell my kids everything

And explain the importance of feat.

For them to know the dreadful fact –

My grandpa was killed on the battlefield.

I wish each of you to live in peace,

To love, to laugh, to enjoy your days.

Don’t let anyone in this cruel world

To drive the smile off your happy face!
