Улан-Удэ

Ulan-Ude.

        I live in Ulan-Ude.   I like my town very much.  I like it for it’s rich history, interesting traditions and the places of interest. .  

       Evenings and nights i n my town  are bright with differently coloured lights of illuminations.  These illuminations are of different forms, e. g:  the forms of trees.  So  these  slightly  coloured  trees   on the earth and  the trembling  stars in  the sky   make  effects of something  magic,  especially  when   nights  are  frosty  or  early  mornings  are  foggy.  I like my town looking so mysterious and magic.

       When  I  walk  along  the  bridge  over  the  river  Uda  I  admire the  view  of  the  river . I  also  admire   the  wonderful   views  of   churches  which are seen from  here. The water  surface  is  charming , sometimes  I  want  to  touch  this  crystal -smooth  surface.  Here  I  always  find  myself  that I also want  “to touch”  the historical pages of my  town.  The river Uda  and  the golden  domes  of  churches   remind  me  of  the  old town   Verkhneudinsk,   the  great  Tea road   and   so   on.   I  feel  myself  as if  the  representatives   of   different   historical  periods  speak   with me and  say:  “Be proud  of  your  town”.

       There are many places  of  interests in my  town  but  you should visit by all means  the  place, so-called: “the Rinpoche  bagsha  datsan”, which is  situated on   Bald  mountain.  From  here you can  see the  surprisingly   beautiful  panorama  of  my  town,  lying  in  silver   smoke  and   surrounded  by  mountains.  Here you can walk  slowly  enjoying  every  moment  through the  wooden  staircase  road  in  the  park, where  different   animals – symbols  of  a year  will meet you.  Come  here ,  try   your  chance  and  you ‘ ll  be  happy.  As  for  me, I  feel  happiness  and I’m really  proud of  my  town.
