These eternal questions are asked of the heroes of the greatest English playwright and poet William Shakespeare. Years of his life 1564 - 1616.

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon near London.

Shakespeare studied in grammar school, where he learned Latin, Greek and gave the knowledge of mythology, history and literature.

In 1590 William arrived in London, where he had no friends or relatives. Shakespeare earned living guarding the horses at the theatre, while their owners watched the show . He helped in the theatre and in a few years, William Shakespeare got his first small role.

In autumn 1599 the theatre was called "Globe". Above the entrance we can see the winged words: "The whole world is the theatre." Shakespeare was one of his co-owners of the company, and its main actor and playwright.
