One of the most valuable things in life is friendship. Friendship makes wonders. The friend is a person, who wants to make you happy. To my mind friendship can be compared with a tree. Its seed should find good soil and under good conditions it will grow into a tree. As the years go by the tree stands firmer and firmer on the ground. And if it is strong enough, it will survive all the storms and winds. But to help it, we should take care of it and love it. Friendship is a special relationship between people. People need this relationship because they expect help and comfort from each other. Those who have friends have less stress and longer live. Friendship is usually based on common interests and mutual understanding, true encouragement and sympathy.

I think it is very important to have friends, because any person needs someone to communicate and share interests with. Some people prefer to have friends from real world. Others consider that friends from the virtual world are better. But I agree with those people who think that friends from real world are much better. To be a good friend you should have such qualities as friendly, funny, honest, sociable, polite, shy, clever, kind and optimistic.

I think that it’s easier to make friends among your peers. My best friend is of the same age with me. I do not have friends among adults apart from my parents. I have many friends. I have a wide circle of friends who are on the same wavelength. I get on well with them because I respect their differences. It is fun to be with them all.
