I. Introduction.
Topicality.  Every day we are faced with a variety of life situations that give rise to our emotions - both positive and negative. And often, we splashed out our bad mood on people who wish us merely well. For example, some teenagers begin to organize a scandal without any reasons to his parents and blame them for their problems. And some ones will keep everything inside until they take a sheet of paper and a pen. And no matter what they will make: a simple statement or a poem. The main thing is that they do not harm others, and even helped to themselves. But there are other situations when you have a turbulent emotions such as joy, happiness and inspiration, but have no person, who you would like to discuss it with. And then you can be helped with a shit of paper and a pen, too. The men who say that do something like that in their life are a brazen liars. Each of us was faced with similar periods in the life, especially during the adolescence. And sometimes rather strange thoughts came into your mind which had to be written, regardless of the mood. And it seemed to you that nobody have thought about it before. But a lot of people conceal it in depth. We decided to look it in detail and make a survey in which we hoped to reveal a frank confession of teenagers about their attempts to prove himself as a poet. We would like to know who more often writes the poetry: boys or girls, their hobby and the most basic ideas of the adolescent experiences.

The subject of research of our work is a writing the poetry at the age of 12 to 17 years.
Objective: To establish the average number, age, gender of teens who write the poetry and the main themes of their works. It was necessary to solve the several problems for achieve this goal:
1.To find a certain number of participants for the survey;
2. Translate the poems into English;
3. Identify interviewee’s age and interests; the main reasons for writing the poetry;
4.Summarize the data and come to a definite conclusion.
Hypothesis:
If the teens develop their talents in the field of art (whether it's a poem or a drawings, or any other kind of activities), the next generation will be able to enjoy more masterpieces than we are. Indeed, many embarrass to expose their work to the public, considering that it will cause a lot of negative opinions, and they lie in a drawer for many years, but, as a rule, these products have a deep meaning and new conjectures, which previously no one imagined.
The work was done in stages:
• In the preparatory stage basic information work was compiled;
• In the second one the values were analyzed and the collected labels were compared;
• In the third and final stage conclusions were formulated and the results were decorated;
Here were used two methods: search and analytical ones

II. The main part.

The poetry is quite ancient term. This notion goes down in the history with the roots. From the Greek this term is translated as "creativity", "creation".

Often poetry are called a kind of art, forgetting that in our time there are many varied poetic texts which are not an artistic, for example - advertising. In the history text with any content could be the poetry even scientific and medical treatises. The reason for writing these texts in poetic form was distancing this works from ordinary speech; poetic form was considered the most important, significant.

The original poetry took the form of songs. The simplest form of poetry is the word which is inextricably linked with element of music. In ancient times, primitive man did not have the so-called language. So song mainly consisted of screams and cries, interjections and gestures. Over time, poetry has evolved.  It has become more like a modern type of poems, songs. Poetry became the basis of the songs that have been handed down from generation to generation and eventually became known as folklore. With the further development of the primitive way of life there appears a new world order: a person begins to feel not "finger on the feet" of a large body, but individual. It appears no one inseparable experiences, the obstacles to overcome that nobody does not help him. These lyrical elements are found in the epos. Now, these expressions of personal life stand as an independent whole in poetic form, prepared by the previous development lyrical song which is sung with accompaniment of a musical instrument.

A complication of social forms, which led to the opposition in the minds of the individual and society, is a new look at tradition. The center of gravity of interest to the ancient legend goes from event to man, to his inner life, his struggle with others, to the tragic situation in which it puts contradiction personal motives and social requirements. Thus had been prepared conditions for the emergence of the drama. First, the material is drawn only from tradition, that is, from the myth; then creativity becomes poetic content  outside the life gods and heroes, but everyday life of ordinary people. As a consequence appears a Greek novel period of decline. Here, the subject of the story is no longer public issues, history, and the vicissitudes of personal destinies directly caused primarily by love. Form is not unconventional, it became more personal.

This is how appeared three forms of poetry: epic, lyric, drama.

In our time, the poet already uses ready language having only small possibility to modify it. Just as "speaking, means abut your own individual thinking to the total" (Humboldt) and create - means be considered in the work with its mandatory forms. So it means that the poet backed into a some frame of writing his works, or rather the poem built through: rhyme, rhythm, meter, poetic dimension.

Rhyme from Greek - "collapsible, proportionality" - consonance endings verses.

In the poetry the rhythm is a common ordering of the sound structure of poetic speech.

The meter is a regular alternation in verse downbeats and weaknesses. Syllabic-tonic meters include, in particular, iambic, trochaic, dactylic, anapaest and amphibrach.

The poetic dimension is a kind of the private meters, is characterized by long lines, the presence or the absence of the caesura and the character of the end (clause): for example, iambic pentameter uncensored. The boundary of poetry and prose is relative.

III. The practical part.
Investigation of teenager`s writing poetry, we have built as follows:
1. We have conducted a survey among students aged 12 to 17 years;
2. We have written down the participants` verses 
3. The Participants were asked with the following question:
• Age, sex.
• The reason for writing the poem.
• Key topics, themes of poems;
We have recorded and analyzed about 100 students` responses. The results of testing we distributed in relation to the asked questions (Attachment 1). According to our study, most participants tried to write poetry, at least once. There are about 62% owho are writing poetry, and 38% stopped in the first attempt.
The study found:`
1. more poetize gender;
2. young poets` extracurricular activities, hobbies, and interests;
3. the most topical themes.

Among pupils of grades 5-11 were surveyed "Poetry is a way to express themselves"

We asked next questions:

  1. Have you ever written a poem?
  2. Do you continue to write poetry now?
  3. How long have you written  your poems?
  4. How often do you write poetry?
  5. What are the main topics of  your poetry?
  6. What language do you write poetry in?

100 people took part in questionnaire. From the resulting chart, we see that:

  1. Do you write poems or things like that? - 100 people

Yes - 53 people, 76%;

No - 19 people, 24%.

  1. Do you continue to write poetry now? - 100 people

Yes - 62 people, 62%;

No –  38 people, 38%.

  1. How long have you written poetry? - 58 people

 Yes - 23 people, 39%;

  No – 37 people, 41%.

  1. How often do you write poetry? - 50 people

Yes - 10 people, 20%;

No - 40 people, 80%

  1. About what do you often write? - 40 people

Pressing problems - 4 persons, 10%;

War - 1 person, 2.5%;

Love - 7 persons, 17.5%;

Emotional experience - 17 people, 42.5%;

The Meaning of Life - 7 persons, 17.5%;

Other topics - 4 persons, 10%.

  1. What language do you write poetry in? - 45 people

Russian - 33 people, 73%;

English - 3 people, 12%;

Other languages - 4 persons, 15%.

Conclusion: The majority of the students of grades 5-11 took pen in hand once life, but not all continue to write poetry on.

IV. Conclusion.
Every person had resorted to the poetry, and there is not an exclusion. It is possible that not everyone can admit it to others, but every of us took a pen and expressed his feelings to the poem. It doesn`t matter who you are: the boy or the girl, humanities or geek, athlete or scientist, because each of us is able to write a poetry. The main things are the content and meaning of this one. There is a wide variety of topics for writing. Most of the students who were participated in the survey had tried to write poetry, but only 8 of them eventually stopped doing it. Of course, the poems are not written often because for its writing needs inspiration or a kind of emotional shock. But continue to write is very important thing, because it is primarily a way to self-knowledge and self-development, also writing poetry expands vocabulary, especially if you write a poem in a foreign language.
