Hello! My name is Vlad Vdovin , and I want to tell you how my family and I celebrate the New Year . The New Year is one of my favorite holidays, and we celebrate it with our family.

In the middle of December, we buy a Christmas tree . My mother and I decorate it with colorful lights , shiny balls, and tinsel. We also prepare gifts for each other in advance.

At the end of December, my brother Volodya from Moscow comes to visit us during the New Year holidays. On the evening of 31 December, my grandparents come to visit us, and we all gather around the festive table.

At eleven o'clock in the evening, my mother, father , brother and I go to Mount Mashuk to watch the fireworks. When we get back, we give each other presents and watch New Year's TV shows.

During the holidays, we like to go to the mountains, where we can go sledding and play snowballs. I love this magical time.
