I like winter holidays because I have New Year and Christmas. I have much time to read. During my winter holidays I read the book «The story of Santa Claus». Jenny Dooley wrote the book «The story of Santa Claus».

During reading the book «The story of Santa Claus» I liked that there weren’t many new words for me. I can read it without a dictionary. And I like the pictures, too.

My favourite characters are Mr. Claus and Mrs. Claus. They look like my grandparents. They are so kind and like to present gifts.

Now I can retell this book to my classmates in English and to my family in Russian. Next year I can use it for my future Christmas party. Now I can sing a song « Jingle Bells » .

In February my cousin Alina will have her birthday. I will present her with the book «The story of Santa Claus». Hope, she will like it because this book is very kind.
