Цели урока (The aims):

Образовательные

- Изучение и первичное осознание нового учебного материала по теме «Путешествие»;

- Совершенствование навыков поиска нужной информации;

- Тренировка навыков в говорении (диалогическая и монологическая речь);

- Активизация употребления страноведческой лексики в устной и письменной речи

обобщение информации о путешествии, понимание и высказывание в соответствии с конкретной ситуацией общения.

Развивающие

-Развитие мыслительных операций: анализа и синтеза; творческих способностей студентов,

-Развитие навыков работы в группе,

- Развитие логического мышления, воображения, памяти.

Воспитательные

-Формирование мотивации к изучению иностранного языка;

-Воспитание культуры речи;

-Воспитание уважение к традициям страны изучаемого языка;

-Воспитание уважения к чужому труду.

Тип урока: урок изучения и первичного закрепления новых знаний.

Вид урока: комбинированный.

Форма работы – фронтальная, индивидуальная, групповая, парная.

Методы - интерактивный, словесный, наглядный, практический.

Ход занятия:

1. Организационный момент: 2 мин.

Teacher: Good evening, everybody. Nice to meet you . How are you today? Are you fine? That’s nice. Then, let’s start our lesson. Today we shall have a lesson according to our theme «Travelling». But first of all let's see who is a present and who is absent today.

Добрый день, всем. Рада видеть вас снова в нашей аудитории. Как у вас дела сегодня? У вас все в порядке? Это хорошо. Тогда, давайте начнем наш урок. Сегодня у нас будет занятие на тему «Путешествие». Но в первую очередь давайте посмотрим, кто присутствует и кто отсутствует.

2. Введение новых ЛЕ.

- Сегодня нам понадобится следующая лексика:

Аэропорт airport, автобус bus, агентство agency, пейзаж countryside, пешком on foot, багаж baggage, бензин gas,gasoline, билет ticket, велосипед bicycle,bike 

взлетать to take off, виза visa, утомительный tiresome, вокзал railway station / train station, достопримечательности attractions, европейские страны European countries, ежегодный отпуск annual vacation, ехать за границу to go abroad, железная дорога railway, быстро quick.

-Давайте закрепим эту лексику, отгадывая загадки.

You buy it, if you want to go by bus, or by plane, or by car. (a ticket)

A means of transport which you can see at the station. (a train)

What can birds and planes do, but people can’t? (to fly)

Where can you see a lot of planes? (an airport)

3. Изучение новых ЗУН  (Студенты читают и переводят текст «Travelling»)

Thousands of people travel every day. To prove it, I invite you to a railway or a bus station, a port or an airport. There you will see thousands of people trying to catch a train, a bus, a ship or a plane. Everybody wants to go somewhere and to get there as quickly as possible, with all conveniences and safely. Of course, travelling by plane is the fastest, but it is also the most expensive. That’s why if people have time they go by train. It is one of the most popular means of travelling. Trains go slower than planes, but you can see much more interesting places of the country you are travelling through. Modern trains are very comfortable and you can enjoy even the longest journey. Travelling by sea is popular mostly for pleasure trips. Onboard large ships and small river boats people can visit foreign countries and different places of interest within their own country. A trip by sea is usually called a voyage or a cruise.

Buses also can take you to any place you wish. It can be a trip not far from your home or a long journey even to a foreign country. Modern buses have comfortable seats, video and phone, you can have hot tea or coffee, drinks and snack. Tourist groups usually use buses to visit foreign countries and different places of interest. Many people prefer travelling by car. They don’t have to buy tickets. They don’t have to carry heavy luggage. They can stop wherever they wish and spend as much time as they like at any place. If you feel like travelling by plane, by train or by bus, you have to choose a flight or a line, to go to a ticket office and buy a single or a return ticket. Sometimes you have to change trains or buses. But usually travellers prefer tickets for through trains or buses. Then you take your luggage and try not to miss your plane, train or bus. They usually arrive at the airport or the railway station in time. And your wonderful journey begins. Have a nice journey.

1. Why do people like to travel?

St.1: They want to learn about different countries, culture and sightseeing’s.

St.2: Travelling is good because you meet new friends.

St3.: You can visit famous museums, galleries, buy souvenirs.

St4.: You can learn about national traditions of many countries.

 2. What means of transport do you prefer to travel?

St.1: I prefer to travel by car because I can stop when and there I want and enjoy nature.

St.2: I prefer to travel by sea because I enjoy the wind and the sea.

St3: I prefer to travel by plane because it’s the quickest means of transport and comfortable

St4. I prefer to travel by train because it’s the most convenient and not expensive.

3. How can people travel?

St.1: They can travel by car, by sea,

St.2: by plane, by bus, on foot.

 4. What do people do on the board the plane?

St3:  The people can read books, newspapers, magazines.

St4. The people can listen to the music, watch films, sleep.

5. 

- Для любого путешествия нам нужен набор вещей, предметов. Ваша задача найти нужные предметы и вычеркнуть ненужные.

T: Look at the blackboard and say which of these items do you need when you travel to other countries. Now rub the wrong words. (Работа по карточкам)

6.  Закрепление нового материала. Role-game. (на слайде 6)

- Lets play! Imagine you are a tourist agent who writes a booklet. You need to praise travelling by bus, by plane, by car, by bicycle.

 Вы – турагент, составляющий буклет путешествий на автобусе, на самолёте, на машине, на велосипеде. На подготовку дается вам 5 мин. (слайд 7)

- Teacher Dear guests! Welcome to our Tour Agency. I am a manager of our tour agency and these are my agents. Our tour agents have prepared some information. They have done small booklets of sights of cities. Итак, я владелица агентства путешествий.  А это мои агенты, подготовившие буклеты для вас!

Agent 1. I invite you to visit ... It is a very interesting city. You can … Welcome to …!

Agent 2. I invite you to visit ... It’s a very beautiful city. You can see…, and of course, you can buy souvenirs. Your traveling will be exciting! You will not be bored!

Agent 3. There are many cities in the world. But my city is the best. I admire its nature, and animals. If you go to …, you will enjoy, …

7. Рефлексия:

- Ребята, подведем итоги нашей работы сегодня (слайд 8) На доске вы видите 4 пункта: Я узнал… Я научился… Я проявил себя… Я смогу применить… Подумайте над каждым пунктом и ответьте. (2 мин на обдумывание)

8. Выдача домашнего задания: (слайд 9)

Написать эссе по одной из тем: 1) The best way to spend your summer holidays. 2) The best way to travel is by bicycle (on foot, by car…)
