our 5 th gymnasium is the best school in vladikavkaz . The school is situated in the center of Vladikavkaz in an old and attractive district. It is a state school specializing in English.

The school is named after a.v . lunacharsky who once visited it.

Some facts from its history The 5 th gymnasium is very old. It is the oldest school in Vladikavkaz and in the North Caucasus. First it was only men’s school, then it began to be a co-educational one.

Great graduates. My favorite school is proud of many of its graduates , one of them is Valery Gergiev. He is the great conductor and the head of the Maryinsky Theater.

Students are safe The students in the gymnasium are safe, because there works a programme “Safe Republic” and there are video-cameras in the school.

Good facilities The 5 th school has good facilities to study and to have a rest. There are : 1) Light classes with up-to-date equipment.
