The Most Interesting Places in Lobnya

My native town is Lobnya. It is very beautiful. And I want to show you some interesting places in my town.

1. One of the most famous places in Lobnya is lake Kiovo. It is situated not far from our town.
2. This place is famous for the seagulls. Before they lived here in very big groups. But then they left our lake because of its pollution. Now you can see some families of these beautiful birds. Lake Kiovo is very important place for us.
3. And this is Kiovo-Spasskaya Church. It is situated near the lake. The Church is very old and beautiful. It is a part of our history.
4. Michail Archangel Church is situated in “Krasnaya Polyana” district. It is not very big, but it is rather beautiful too.
5. Lobnya is famous for its history. There are many monuments in our town. The most important of them is the Monument to Cannon. Many people came here in May with flowers.
6. And now you can see another war monument. Its name is “Zvonnica”. It is situated in our town park. Many people like to walk there with their children.
7. If you want to know more about Lobnya, you can visit town museum. It is not far from the monument to Cannon.
8. The Palace of Culture is in the centre of our town. It is named “Chaika”. People like to go there on their weekends. You can watch performances or interesting films there.
9. Also you can visit our theatre. It is the centre of town cultural life. It is a very popular place.
10. If you want to skate or play basketball, you can visit the Palace of Sport/ It is very important place. You can also watch fencing and dancing competitions there.
11. The Administration Building is situated in the centre of our town. It is not old and rather nice. There are two wonderful fountains in front of this building. Children like to spend a lot of time here in summer and spring.
12. And it’s Lobnya in 1990s. It is a piece of our history.
