The Dead Sea is one of the amazing mysteries of nature, known since ancient times for its healing properties. It is believed that in ancient times there were five cities mentioned in the Bible: Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zoar Sevoim . The Dead Sea is called a lake ,because of its size, and dead - because of the salt, the concentration of which (33.7%) is such that not only fish, but other organisms, even bacteria can’t live there.
