Preparations for the celebrations People clean streets and prepare everything before the parade.
On 9 th May there are live concerts and festive parades in the streets of all Russian towns. The main parades and concerts are in Moscow and St. Petersburg . Day 9 th May
War veterans march in the parades , proudly displaying their medals.
People congratulate war veterans, giving them gifts. They wish them health , luck and to live long.
9 th may is certainly a great celebration. People feel proud for their country and for the people protected it.
