Patient care in a hospital begins in the waiting room. The receiving department - an important therapeutic and diagnostic department intended for registration, admission, initial examination, anthropometry, sanitary processing of admissions and providing qualified (emergency) care.

The main functions of the reception : • reception of patients. • Medical examination of patients. • Provision of emergency medical care. • Definition of a hospital for hospitalization. • Sanitary treatment of patients. • Making appropriate medical documentation. • Transportation of patients.
