My project is about Eco-problems in my hometown. Saratov has one of the most beautiful environments in the world: beautiful forests , a lot of wildlife.

Tree felling . In my city I am worried about disappearing of the forests round. I found this problem very worrying. The trees are cut down and the land is spoiled. When a lot of people recycle their paper, a lot trees are saved and the forests and its wildlife is protected. Because when forests are cut, fewer animals have homes .

Air pollution . As well I am very concerned about air pollution. As a lot of people go by cars and buses. Transport and its exhaust fumes pollute the air. Pollution from cars damage people’s health.

I made a survey. The first question was: 1 Are you eco-friendly? Yes – 23. No – 7.

2 Do you reuse paper ? 4 – Never. 18 – I collect paper. 8 – Yes.

3 What can the people do to help the planet? 15 – We all. 7 – Specialist. 8 – Special organization .

Conclusion. Many children think that recycling paper is a waste of time. But it is not correct. It is a fact that less energy is needed to make new paper. From recycled paper less materials are used. It is good when children are taught about the environment from a young age. Then they understand that everyone can make a difference for their community, their town and the world.
