Kyzyl-Mazhalyk is situated in Barun-Khemchik region, in the western part of Republic of Tyva. The population of the village is about 5 thousand people.

About the history of my native village In 20 20 our village will celebrate its 95 birthday. Kyzyl-Mazhalyk, in English “Krasny Kholm” is a village, the administrative center of the Barun-Khemchik kozhuun of the Republic of Tyva. It was founded in 1929.

A branch of the National Museum was created in 1995, after a scientific survey and dismantling petroglyphs from the town Saryg-Dash near the village of Don-Teresin. Besides exhibition and excursion work the Museum branch organizes tours to the famous ancient Turkish stone sculpture, popularly known as " Genghis Khan», Buddhist sanctuary with drawings and paintings "Bijictig-Khaya", petroglyphs of the bronze age. The Palace of Culture of a name of Oleg Namdara The Birthday of The Palace of Culture was set on the 1989. The first Director of the Palace from 1989 to 1992 was appointed a young specialist of the Ulan-Ude Institute of Culture of Buryatia, Mongush Vadim Komaadyrovich.

Kyzyl-Mazhalyk is large, but very nice and clean. Large fields, a beautiful green park named after Kh.N.Churgui-ool, a fast river the Khemchik with a bridge surround our place.

The village is inhabited by people of different nationalities: Russians, Chuvash, Moldovian, Mongolian, and others. I rejoice knowing that my fellow villagers are kind, sympathetic and ready to help people.

Local residents love the village and try to make it cosier and more beautiful. They plant trees and flowers, built some playgrounds. They take part in subbotniks, cherish and protect nature.

The development of the village is not static, it is constantly transformed. Traditions change and develop and so does Kyzyl-Mazhalyk. A lot of new buildings are built there and people make better their houses every year .

I like my settlement and I’m proud of my small Motherland. And even if my village hasn’t many other beautiful buildings I love it because it became my Homeland.
