The weather

Whether the weather be fine,

Or whether the weather be not,

Whether the weather be cold,

Or whether the weather be hot,

We’ll whether the weather

Whatever the weather

Whether we like it or not.

Rain, rain go away,

Come again another day.

Rain, rain go away,

Come again another day.

Seasons

In the summer it is hot.

In the winter it is not.

In the spring there are flowers.

In the autumn there are showers.

Types of climate

R.L.Stevenson

In the other gardens

And all up the vale,

From the autumn bonfires

See the smoke trail!

Pleasant summer over

And all the summer flowers;

The red fire blazes,

The grey smoke towers.

Sing a song of seasons!

Something bright in all!

Flowers in the summer,

Fires in the fall!

Clothes, Accessories, Footwear

Mary wore a red dress, red dress,

Mary wore a red dress all day long.

Mary wore a red hat,red hat,

Mary wore a red hat all day long.

Mary wore her red shoes, red shoes,

Mary wore red shoes all day long.

Mary wore her red gloves, red gloves,

Mary wore her red gloves all day long.

Mary was a red bird, red bird,

Mary was a red bird all day long.

Stuff an arm
into each sleeve,
Put on your coat
before you leave.
Zip the zipper
right to the top,
And cover your head
whenever rain drops

Old shoes, new shoes,

Katy is wearing blue shoes.

One, two, three, four.

Now, I stomp them on the floor.

My School

I really like my school,
and just want to say,
That’s where I spend,
most of my day.

Countless activities,
I get to do.
For arts and crafts,
I always use glue.

During math class,
I learn to add and subtract.
ten times ten equals one hundred,
that’s an absolute fact.

One of my favorite classes,
is fun and called gym.
I can nearly touch,
that basketball rim.

I also enjoy learning,
difficult words to spell.
My ears are programmed,
for that school bell.

I really like my school,
and just want to say,
I’m always excited,
for the very next day.

School life

 School is often,
a serious affair.
Your teacher expects you,
to sit straight in your chair.

During classes you don’t fancy,
you may be sporting a frown.
Just be careful,
your grades may go down.

Education certainly begins,
with a positive attitude.
For this opportunity,
let’s show some gratitude.

The trick is to enjoy,
subjects you find curious.
The ones you don’t like,
are not injurious.

Remember to physically,
and mentally train.
It all begins,
with your beautiful brain.

Your classmates may need,
a helping hand.
You’re a good student,
you understand.

***

Mind the clock
And keep the rule;
Try to come
On time to school.

***

I am counting to ten,
You are giving them a pen,
She is looking at the door,
He is sitting on the floor.
All of us are working well,
Waiting, waiting for the bell.

When I'm at home, i just can’t wait

To get to school – i think it’s great!

Assemblies i could do without,

But i love it, giving hymn-books out.

Writing’s fun, when you try each letter,

But sharpening the pencils first – that's better!

Football leaves me with the stitch,

But I'd miss my playtime to mark the pitch.

Cooking cakes gives you a thrill,

But cleaning the bowl out’s better still.

Story’s nice at the end of the day,

But I'd rather empty the rubbish away.

Yes, school’s great – though I'll tell you what:

Going-home-time beats a lot!

Please Mrs. Butler

This boy Derek Drew

Keeps copying my work, Miss.

What shall I do?

Go and sit in the hall, dear.

Go and sit in the sink.

Take your books on the roof, my lamb.

Do whatever you think.

Please Mrs. Butler

This boy Derek Drew

Keeps taking my rubber, Miss.

What shall I do?

Keep it in your hand, dear.

Hide it up your vest.

Swallow it if you like, my love.

Do what you think best.

Please Mrs. Butler

This boy Derek Drew

Keeps calling me rude names, Miss.

What shall I do?

Lock yourself in the cupboard, dear.

Run away to sea.

Do whatever you can, my flower.

But don’t ask me!

When I think of what I will be,

It is something that puzzles me.

When I am a grown man,

Shall I drive a lorry or a van?

Shall I be an electrician?

Houses

Draw a table, chairs, lamps,

On the table draw some stamps.

Draw two pictures on the wall,

A vase with flowers and a ball.

Draw a stool and a TV set,

A carpet, an armchair and a bed.

Open the window.

Open the door.

Touch the table.

Touch the floor.

Close the door.

Turn the key.

Open your books.

Look at me.

Places in the town

There are many books in the library

Carefully look

There are thousands of your friends

Which are laying on the shelves

They ll talk with you

And you, my younger friend. The whole way of the earth history

 Would see at last

cinema

There you can watch the cartoons

Magazines, clips, movies.

We go there with the whole class

There s good, there s just cool

There we weren’t  for a long time

It is time to visit movies.

Carry foods to the shop

But neither vegetables nor fruits

Cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese

Glazed cheese.

Have carried from afar

Three bottles of milk.

Very fond of our  children

Yogurt and sour milk.

It is very useful to them,

It s our milk shop.

MALLS

A little pig found a fifty-dollar note,

And purchased a hat and a very fine coat,

With trousers, and stockings, and shoes,

Cravat, and shirt-collar, and gold-headed cane,

Then proud as could be, did he march up the lane;

Says he, “I shall hear all the news.”

FOOD &DRINKS

Lunch box, lunch box,

what's for lunch?

Peanut butter sandwich

and celery to crunch.

Carrots and bananas

and an apple to munch.

A bite, and a bite and A BITE

AND A BITE!

Now I'm heavy and my lunchbox is light!

Sport

Basketball’s my favorite sport

I dribble up and down the court

The ball goes bouncing on my toes

And hits the teacher on the nose

He stumbles back and grabs his nose

And hits the wall and down he goes

The other players stop and stare

They never heard the teacher swear

With no one playing anymore

I grab the ball, I shoot, I score

I love this game, it’s so much fun

The teacher cried, but we won.

Travelling

I should like to rise and go

Where the golden apples grow;

Where below another sky

Parrot islands anchored lie,

And, watched by cockatoos and goats,

Lonely Crusoe’s building boats;

Where in sunshine reaching out

Eastern cities, miles about,

Are with mosque and minaret

Among sandy gardens set,

And the rich goods from near and far

Hang for sale in the bazaar;
