Let me introduce myself.  My name is Arina.  I am a happy child because there were a lot of wonderful days in my life. I like playing the piano very much and I often take part in different musical competitions. Last summer an international musical contest «The Salute of talents» took place in Kaliningrad. And I went there to take part in it. I was really happy and that day in Kalinigrad was the happiest day in my life.

I woke up early in the morning and I was nervous but I did all my best and won the third prize.

My teacher and I had a lot of free time before the evening of Awards ceremony. We went sightseeing and visited the Curonian Spit reserve. There we saw a «dancing» forest. It was a group of unusual trees with interesting branches. Suddenly we saw a live fox. It was so cute and   I was really excited.

Then we visited different places of interest but I liked the Amber Museum most of all. There were a lot beautiful things made of amber. I was really impressed by a fantastic amber yacht. It was yellow and bright. It consisted of many tiny amber parts.

In the evening the Awards ceremony started. I received the diploma and the cup. I was the happiest girl in the world. My teacher was really proud of me. It was a very touching moment. We were about to cry from joy.

Then we had a wonderful dinner at a big restaurant « The Knight». There were different old things and many beautiful pictures of brave knights on the walls. There also was a real throne.  After a tasty dinner I could sit on it. I felt like a real princess.

It was the happiest day in my life. I remember the events of that day very often and with great pleasure.
