Стихотворение "American civil war"

American civil war

Shooting, explosions, smoke,

Pain, blood, awful noises

And silence, the fearful silence…

When you are lying and thinking,

Trying to understand if you are dead or alive….

Asking yourself about reasons

Of terrible civil war.

Who should we blame:

The Confederates?

May be it`s Lincoln

Who`s guilty in starting

The bloodiest war in US?

I think the answer is greediness

Which ruled in the southern states.

So who won in the war between citizens?

The answer is also not easy

But if we follow the logics

The winners were freed slaves

The efforts of Union soldiers

Were not left in vain

As The United states now is a wonderful country

One should never forget those brave heroes,

Thanks to whom  people`s  lives are  bright

And  the rights that they have are equal.

One  should always remember about horrors of war

And do his best to keep the peace

As it is the most precious thing.
