Seasons of Celebration: My Favorite Festivities

In my country, we have many wonderful holidays throughout the year. Each season brings its own special celebrations, and I love them all!

In winter, my favorite holiday is New Year. It is a magical time! We decorate a Christmas tree with colorful lights and toys. At midnight, we watch fireworks and make wishes. My family and I give each other presents, and I always get something nice.

In spring, we celebrate Easter. It is a bright and joyful holiday. We paint eggs in different colors and play games with them. My mom bakes a special cake called "kulich," and it is very tasty. I also like going to church with my family.

In summer, we have a holiday called "Ivan Kupala Day." It is an old tradition. People light bonfires, sing songs, and dance. Girls wear wreaths made of flowers, and everyone has fun. I like this holiday because it feels like a big adventure.

In autumn, my favorite celebration is Halloween. Even though it is not a traditional holiday in my country, we still celebrate it. I dress up in a funny costume, like a witch or a superhero, and go trick-or-treating with my friends. We get lots of sweets, and it is so exciting!

Every season has its own magic, and I enjoy all the holidays. They bring happiness, fun, and time with my family and friends. I can’t wait for the next celebration!
