So, we are the students now. Our town has 3 secondary technical educational institutions: Kuchinsky Meteorological College, Moscow Region Industrial College and our State College of Technology and Management, which we have chosen and we were fortunate to be its students.College has a rich history, it was founded in 1942 and one of its buildings is situated in the former estate of Volkonskiis princes, according to legend, the building was built on the order of Malyuta Skuratov . And today, the building and the surrounding area landscaped and looks attractive, unlike many other educational institutions. More detailed history of the college can be found on its website. And while we are students only 3 months, but noticed differences between college and school.

There are many differences between school and college. The most important difference is in a study system: it`s focus on the nessesary subjects in student`s chosen profession. There are more opportunities for self-realization: from creating newspapers to organizing event. Student have more independence, sometimes it`s helpful for self-organization.

Another one of the differences from the school is the lack of spare shoes and uniforms , and attitude as to adults. Because of this we have to be more serious in our study. Study mode allows more efficient to manage the time.

Study at college is close to the university. The college student gets a ticket and a gradebook . The academic year is divided into semesters. Between semesters students pass the session.

Student, who has studied at college already, have some qualification. After college the school-leaver can work or get a higher education. That means that students with secondary education can get higher education in their specialization with less time.

Professional specialization in secondary specialized educational institutions begins mainly from the second year, so that the College freshmen and ordinary tenth often study one and the same. But here, with all the similarities of the studied there is a clear difference: the students of schools strengthens memory and there is a growing understanding of academic disciplines.

If the student can still «swim» in reasoning, solving the problem in physics, he will be a young future physicist, which of course I wasn knowledge can already explain physical phenomena not worse teacher subject. In many respects it is a merit of the joint work of students and teachers. In secondary specialized education is no «extra» items to retreat once, ahead of the diploma and work - we just have to understand all of the material and learn a profession!
